Quick Start Guide
Introduction
The Lippert LatchXtendTM Keyless RV Door Lock with Bluetooth® extends the paddle latch by 14 inches, providing significant leverage for easier door operation without an entry step in place. This guide includes instructions for setting an entry code and controlling the LatchXtendTM with a smart device app..
NOTE: The battery will ship inside the battery compartment. To activate the battery, a pull tab will be accessible on the back side of the battery compartment (Fig. 1B) that needs to be pulled completely from this location. This will close the battery circuit allowing for electronic and bluetooth operation of the LatchXtendTM.
EXCESSIVE FORCE IS NOT NECESSARY TO OPERATE THE LATCHXTENDTM. DO NOT PULL WITH ENTIRE BODY WEIGHT OR PULL HANDLE FOR LONG PERIODS AS THIS COULD
DAMAGE THE KEYLESS LATCHXTENDTM RV DOOR HANDLE OR CAUSE THE LATCH AND THE DOOR TO SWING OPEN UNINTENTIONALLY CAUSING DAMAGE OR INJURY.
DOORS MOVING OUTWARD ON HINGE CAN SWING OPEN WHEN CAUGHT BY ENVIRONMENTAL ELEMENTS OR WHEN EXCESSIVE FORCE IS USED. DAMAGE TO

Programming/Reprogramming an Entry Code
NOTE: The default entry code is located on a sticker on the interior door handle (Fig. 1A).
1. To set a new entry code, press and hold the 9/0 key (Fig. 2A) until two beeps sound. 2. Enter the current entry code within 10 seconds. Two beeps will sound. 3. Enter the new digit entry code on the keypad within 10 seconds. Three beeps will sound. The new entry code is now programmed.
NOTE: This is the only way to set the entry code. It cannot be set or changed by a smart device app.

Controlling the LatchXtendTM from a Smart Device App
1. To find the right app for your RV , scan the QR code below.
Scan this code to open a webpage that guides you to the right app for your LatchXtendTM device. If you already use an app to operate your RV’s control system, you might be able to add LatchXtendTM to it. Scan the code to check for compatibility
2. Download the app to the smart device and follow the prompts to set up a new account or log in to an existing account.
3. Proceed to the Pairing section of this manual (Pg. 5).

If you already use an RV control App, confirm that the LatchXtendTM is compatible.
1. Open the App and look for a “+” icon at the upper right of the screen. 2. Tap the “+” icon to open the Add & Explore page. 3. Look for the LatchXtendTM accessory from the list of accessories and devices. 4. If you see the LatchXtendTM, proceed to the Pairing section of this guide.
Pairing with the App
5. Open the app and tap the “+” icon at the top right of the screen. 6. Select the LatchXtendTM accessory from the list of accessories and devices. 7. The app will display a screen indicating that the app is ready to pair with the LatchXtendTM. 8. The Touch Indicator Light (TIL) will blink BLUE with two audible beeps, then continue to blink BLUE for 15 seconds until pairing mode expires. When pairing is successful, the app will indicate a successful pairing session and the TIL will communicate with 2 GREEN blinks and audible beeps. 9. The app will return to the HOME screen. 10. Scroll down to find the LatchXtendTM device section. 11. Open the section for controls and features.
