Linlu M12 Smart Translator Device User Manual

The device features a Type-C port for charging and connectivity.
It includes A and B keys for language selection and a return button
for navigation. Swipe up on the screen to unlock the device.

Quick Operate Guide:

Ensure to connect to a suitable WIFI network. Access the
wireless network settings through the menu and select the desired
network by entering the password.

Device Charging:

If the device is low on power (below 3.4V), it will
automatically shut down. Charge the device using a Type-C cable to
resume usage.

Device Power On and Off:

To power on, long press the power button until the screen
displays the power-on screen. To shut down, long press the power
button and select the shutdown option.

Turn On and Off the Screen:

Manually turn off or on the screen by pressing the power button.
The device will automatically turn off the screen based on the set
sleep time.

Home Screen:

The main screen provides access to various functions such as
voice translation, offline translation, photo translation, and
more. Click on an option to enter the corresponding function.

Status Bar:

The status bar at the top of the screen shows information like
WIFI status and battery level.

Q: How do I reset the device?

A: To reset the device, press and hold the power button for 10
seconds until it restarts.

Q: Can I use headphones with this device?

A: Yes, you can connect headphones using a Type-C to 3.5mm
adapter for audio output.

Y This device supports WIFI, please choose the WIFI according to the current actual use environment.
WIRELESS NETWORK ENVIRONMENT
Y After the device is powered on, connect to the wireless network Y Configure the wireless network through the menu “Settings” “WIFI”. Turn on the wireless network. Y Select the wireless network you want to connect to and enter your password to connect.
DEVICE CHARGING
Y In a state of low power, some functions of the device may not be available. The device automatically shuts down when the battery level is lower than 3.4V. Y At this time, you need to charge the device to continue to use. Y When charging the device while it is turned on, the battery icon in the upper right corner of the screen has a “lightning” symbol.
DEVICE POWER ON AND OFF
Y Power on: Long press the power button on the left side of the device until the screen displays the power on screen. Device initialization takes some time, please be patient. Y Shutdown: Long press the power button on the left side of the device to bring up a dialog box. Click on the shutdown option to turn off the device.
TURN ON AND OFF THE SCREEN
Y Manually turn off or on the screen: Y Press the power button on the left side to turn off the screen. Y When the screen is off, press the power button on the left to light up the screen Y Automatically close the screen: Y When there is no operation on the device within the sleep time set by the system, the device will automatically turn off the screen display. Y The main screen of the device is the main function entrance, with a total of 18 operation options: voice translation, offline translation, photo translation, simultaneous interpretation, quick chat translation, remote translation, input translation, intelligent recording, reading, bookmarking, CHATGPT, AI assistant, exchange rate conversion, unit conversion, offline package management, calculator, stopwatch, and settings. Main functions:
SPEECH RECOGNITION
Y Long press the voice input button on the device (A voice button corresponds to the language on the left side of the homepage, B voice button corresponds to the language on the right side of the homepage) to enter the voice recognition mode. Y After releasing the button, the voice will be automatically recognized and analyzed, and translated into the set target language for voice broadcasting (the voice broadcasting mode depends on the settings). Y The list displays the text records of voice translation. When there are too many translation records, swipe up and down the page to view the translation records. If the translation machine is offline, the translation will automatically switch to offline translation. Y Click the language button at the top of the translation homepage to enter the language selection list.
VOICE TRANSLATION
Y Currently supports real-time translation between languages in 138 countries (regions) (subject to change with version updates). Y Click the language button at the top of the translation homepage to enter the language selection list. Y Click on the desired source language/target language option
OFFLINE TRANSLATION
Y It currently supports real-time translation between languages in 21 countries (regions) (changes with version updates). Y The package must be downloaded offline first, and initialized when there is a network.
PHOTO TRANSLATION
Y Language selection; Y Click the language button at the top of the photo translation homepage to enter the language selection list, and select the desired source language/target language option. Y Photo translation: Y Click on the screen to focus on the image or text that needs to be translated, Y Adjust the recognition range for selection, Y The translation result is displayed after recognition.
SIMULTANEOUS INTERPRETATION

Y It needs to be done with network access: Y Supports ultra fast AI translation within 1 minute. Y Press and hold the A or B key for voice recognition. Y After exiting, you need to scan the code again for translation. Y Support browser/chat application scanning, synchronous display of content on mobile devices, and downloading and saving for data editing.
QUICK CHAT TRANSLATION
Join a group chat: Y Proactively create multi person chat (prerequisite: the device has not joined any chat). Y After entering, share the QR code or ID number with others to form a group chat, or scan the code to enter the group chat. Y Scan the code or enter the device number to add a team member. Member management: Y Click the button in the upper right corner and select the member management option Y Click to exit mutual translation to exit multi person translation Y Click on the X on the right side of the member list to achieve member management Language selection: Y Click on the language option in the upper right corner, Y Just choose the language you need. Y Advanced settings; Y Click the button in the upper right corner and select the language selection option
REMOTE TRANSLATION
Y It needs to be done with network access: Y Support scanning codes for multiple people (up to 3000) in browsers/chat applications. Y Scan the code to enter the chat interface and select the desired language option. Y After exiting, you need to scan the code again for translation
INPUT TRANSLATION
Y Built in Google Input Method; Y Click on the keyboard to download and install the required voice commands; Y Click on the blank area to input text, and the desired translation will appear synchronously.
INTELLIGENT RECORDING
Y The target language only supports offline translation of languages, with a duration of 60 minutes. Y Select the target language and translation language in the upper right corner. Y Click on the language switching icon in the bottom left corner to view the original text/translation.

Y During the recording process, click on the red stop icon and select save file. Y Click the button in the upper right corner to import the recording file for viewing. Y Recording text storage location: Insert into the computer click on the Recording Translation folder.
SETTINGS
Y WIFI settings: Configure the WIFI network of the device. Y Broadcast mode: Automatic broadcast and manual broadcast modes can be selected. When the player switches to the plug-in mode, the translation result needs to be manually clicked to speak. Y System Language: Enter the language interface for selecting the device to use Y Bluetooth: Configure and connect Bluetooth devices. Y Display: After entering, you can set the sleep time and choose four modes: 30s, 1 minute, 3 minutes, and never turn off the screen. Y Date and Time: There are two ways to set the time: automatic and manual. Y Clear data: Restore the device to its original state (delete user data on the device, irreversible operation). Y Regarding devices: View information such as the name, version number, copyright, etc. of the currently used device.
PRACTICAL TOOLS
Y The following are practical tools, including learning, calculation, etc; Y Follow reading, bookmarking, CHATGPT (self payment required), AI assistant (only available in China), exchange rate conversion, unit conversion, offline package management, calculator, stopwatch.
ONLINE UPGRADE
When there is a new version upgrade, the user will automatically detect the new version when switching languages/restarting or after 24 hours, supporting various network environment upgrades.
