Featuring smart design features and high-quality components, the Pure Comfort™ system offers superior comfort and energy savings.

• Multi-stage cooling capabilities allow the system to respond to changing conditions efficiently and effectively. The system operates at lower speeds most of the time for maximum comfort, enhanced humidity control and energy savings.
• MSAV® supply fan technology delivers year-round savings and comfort, with improved fan and operational efficiency for a variety of operating modes. The variable-frequency drive uses slow-start technology that gradually ramps the system’s blower up to speed, offering smooth, efficient and quiet operation.
• Up to 61% supply fan power savings* reduces energy consumption
• Up to 29% better moisture removal* improves indoor comfort
• Achieves/exceeds the single zone VAV supply fan requirements for ASHRAE 90.1, California Title 24, and IECC

SIMPLE SERVICE™
The Simple Service™ system helps ensure ease of installation and maintenance to make every service call easier.

• Easy-service filters are accessible on either side of the unit for convenient serviceability
• Reversible, corrosion-resistant drain pan allows for drain outlets on either end of the cabinet; maintenance is simplified as the drain pan is easily removable and can be adjusted for both horizontal or vertical applications
• Slide-out blower motor reduces installation time and is easy to service
• Service-friendly compressor compartment provides easy access to the compressor and service valve
• Low-maintenance blower belt auto-tensioner aids longer belt life and quick belt replacement to maximize unit performance

ADVANCED CONDENSATE MANAGEMENT™
The Advanced Condensate Management™ System uses an innovative design to control condensation and keep moisture where it belongs.

• Blow-off baffle catches the water droplets blowing off the coil and stops water from leaking into the duct
• Extended drip shield prevents moisture from dripping into the duct system
• External filter rack helps keep filters dry by creating a clear path for the condensation to run directly to the drain
• Enhanced cabinet construction with corrosion resistant, pre-painted sheet metal provides superior rust and corrosion protection. Its innovative design reduces cabinet sweating, while making it easy to maintain

QUIET AND EFFICIENT OPERATION

1. Scroll compressor provides smooth, efficient and quiet operation. All units feature at least one 2-stage compressor for improved efficiency, comfort, and load matching.
2. Outdoor coil fan moves large volumes of air uniformly through the entire condenser coil for high system efficiency.
3. Copper tube/enhanced lanced fin coil provide maximum exposure of fin surface to air stream, resulting in excellent heat transfer.
   EASY INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE
4. Refrigerant line and service valves are in one central area of the cabinet for easy access.
5. Full-perimeter base rails provide structural integrity during unit transport and movement. Forklift slots and lifting holes help speed up tasks such as moving and lifting the unit on the job site.

6. High-pressure switch protects the compressor from excessive condensing pressure.
7. Loss-of-charge switch provides loss-of-charge and freeze-up protection.
8. High-capacity drier traps moisture and dirt that can contaminate the refrigerant system.

MSAV TECHNOLOGY USES THE THEORY OF FAN LAWS TO INCREASE SYSTEM EFFICIENCY.

Based on the theory of Fan Laws, the blower operates at full power when it is running at full speed, but the same fan running at 50% speed consumes only 12.5% of the rated horsepower. By reducing airflow by half, the horsepower consumption is reduced by 87.5%, resulting in significant energy savings.
