Product Usage Conditions

1. The iPhone system version needs to be iOS 10 or above, or the Android phone system version needs to be Android 11 or above.
2. [Important] Suitable for cars with wired Apple CarPlay or Android Auto.

How to Check if the Car Has Wired Apple CarPlay or Android Auto?

Method 1: Connect the iPhone or Android phone to the main USB port of the car using a data cable. If the car has Apple CarPlay/Android Auto function, the

CarPlay or Android Auto interface will appear.

Method 2: If there is a CarPlay or Android Auto icon in the caris multimedia menu, it means that your car is equipped with Apple CarPlay or Android Auto.

How to Use?

1. Insert the device into the USB or USB C port of the car. ( Note: If your car has multiple ports, make sure to insert the device into the port with wired Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. )
2. Wait for the screen to display the connection UI interface. ( Note: CarPlay IJI is displayed by default, Android Auto is displayed without IJI. )
3. Turn on the WiFi and Bluetooth on your iPhone/Android phone, find the Bluetooth named “Auto_Link-, click to pair; Click “Allow”; Click “Use Carplay” or “Use Android Auto” to start using.

Principle of Operation

The device pairs between the phone and the vehicle using Bluetooth, then switches to using WiFi to maintain a wireless connection. After successful Bluetooth pairing, the phone’s WiFi automatically connects to the device’s WiFi, and then the Bluetooth connection is disconnected by default.

( Note: If the phone’s Bluetooth is connected to other devices at this time, it may cause CarPlay microphone input or sound playback to be unavailable. You may need to manually disconnect the phone from other Bluetooth devices or directly turn off Bluetooth to fix it. )

Online Upgrade and Start-up Delay Setting

( The device is working normally, indicating that the current version is suitable for your vehicle. Firmware update is not recommended. Only attempt this solution when you cannot resolve the issue through the “FAQ”. )

Upgrade Steps/Accessing Settings Interface

1. Power on the device.
2. Connect to the device’s WiFi (Auto_Link- ) using an iPhone, with the password “12345678”.
3. Open Safari browser, enter ‘1192.168.1.101’, and then click “Update”.
4. On the same page, you can also fill in the car manufacturer, model year, and detailed information about the issue, then click “Submit” to report the problem. Our engineers will record your issue and research possible solutions.
5. After the upgrade is complete, please restart your phone once before using the device again.
6. After adjusting parameters in the background, unplug and plug the device to take effect.
   ( Note: Android phones cannot be upgraded online temporarily.)

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Can the adapter pair with multiple phones?

Yes, the adapter can pair with multiple phones, but only one device can be connected at a time. If you want to pair it with a new phone, please disconnect the current connection first, turn off the phone's WiFi, and disable Bluetooth. Note that by default, the adapter's Bluetooth function will automatically connect only to the last used phone.

Audio function is abnormal.

Check if the phones Bluetooth is connected to other devices. If so, ignore other automatically connected Bluetooth devices.
