Product Usage Instructions
- Remove the cotter pin.
- Remove the castle nut.
- Remove washer.
- Carefully pull up on the spring hub to disengage the spring.
- Remove the spring and note orientation.
- Remove the lever handle.
- Pick up a flat gear, flip, and orient the stop on the opposite side of the top post.
- Install the spring upside down from the original orientation and place the spring leg on the opposite side of the stop post from the original installation orientation.
- Install the lever 180 degrees from the original position.
- Install a spring hub with a stamped number in the 6 o’clock position.
- Rotate the spring leg around with needle nose pliers to engage the notch in the spring hub, refer to pictures for the reference position.
- Press down on the spring hub to ensure complete engagement.
- Install washer.
- Install the castle nut, do not overtighten, and verify by ensuring the lever returns horizontally on its own.
- Install cotter pin.

To Change Hands
NOTES
- During change ensure black driven gear does not rotate.
- Please wear safety glasses and be aware of spring tension on spring hub upon removal and assembly.
- Light lubrication is recommended under flat gear, white lithium grease can be used.
