Each e-Results Inquiry screen contains the following icons:

Current Results
Current Results lists patients with results by the selected account.

  • View the current results for a patient by using the index, searching by specimen number, or searching by control number. Searching by specimen number or control number will automatically display the patient’s most recent test results. The correct account number must be selected prior to searching. When using the index, you can display a patient’s test results by selecting the patient’s name.
  •  If multiple patient results are found with matching social security numbers, the results will be listed by date under the patient’s name.

NOTE: In order for the result grouping function to work correctly, the patient’s social security number must be supplied on the Requisition form. If the social security number has not been entered, the patient name will display as a separate entry for each result.

  • High/Low results are displayed in red.
  • The performing lab is displayed in blue. To view additional information about the performing lab, select the lab abbreviation. A window will display with the performing lab information.
  •  Use the Scroll Bars to view multiple page results.
  •  Current result reports can be viewed under different resolutions using the percentage drop-down list and printed using the Print Report button.
  •  Select the Resend option to request a resend of the current report. The report will be flagged and sent to you via your normal report delivery mechanism.
  •  These reports are considered PRELIMINARY and are not the final lab report.

NOTE: If a patient’s results are not listed under Current Results, the patient may have been deleted and re-entered under a different number. Check the number and try again. If the patient is not found, try searching for the patient using the Search tab. LabCorp deletes all patients from the system six months after the final report is sent.
