Intended use
The data transmission terminal is designed to transmit data from patients wearing Bora band® devices to the Bora connect® remote monitoring platform.
If you have any problems, contact your home healthcare provider.

Switching on the terminal

  1. BIOSENCY-Bora-NGD-Firmware-Network-Gateway-Device-fig-1Connect the terminal cable to the charging adapter.
    BIOSENCY-Bora-NGD-Firmware-Network-Gateway-Device-fig-2Only use the adapter supplied with the terminal.
  2. Then plug the adapter into a mains socket.

  • BIOSENCY-Bora-NGD-Firmware-Network-Gateway-Device-fig-5Green light on and flashing red light: the terminal is switched on and searching for its Internet network.
  • BIOSENCY-Bora-NGD-Firmware-Network-Gateway-Device-fig-6Green light on and blue light steady: the terminal is switched on, connected to the Internet, and a Bora band® device.
  • BIOSENCY-Bora-NGD-Firmware-Network-Gateway-Device-fig-7Green light on and blue light flashing: the terminal is switched on and connected to the Internet. A Bora band® device is connected and exchanges data with the terminal.
  • BIOSENCY-Bora-NGD-Firmware-Network-Gateway-Device-fig-8The terminal may be connected to the Bora band® device (steady blue light) but not connected to the network (steady red light).

The NGD Firmware is inherently exposed to denial of service attacks that could prevent it from operating normally. This does not affect the security of your data, but it may prevent it from being transmitted correctly. If you suspect anything, contact a sales representative immediately.

Internet connection
The NGD Firmware communicates via a cellular network (4G/5G) or WIFI. Use an Internet connection secured by at least WPA2 to guarantee the security and confidentiality of your data.
