Understanding Your Watch Movement
This guide provides essential instructions for operating the MIYOTA Cal. 2115 and Cal. 2117 watch movements. Familiarize yourself with the components and procedures for setting the time and date accurately.
A) DISPLAY
The display section illustrates the key parts of the watch movement, including the hour hand, minute hand, second hand, date window, and the crown. Note that the date position may vary depending on the specific model.
B) Setting the Time
- Pull the crown out to the 2nd position.
- Turn the crown to adjust the hour and minute hands to the desired time.
- Once set, push the crown back to its normal position. The second hand will begin to run.
C) Setting the Date
- Pull the crown out to the 1st position.
- Turn the crown counter-clockwise to set the date.
- Important Note: If the date is set between approximately 9:00 PM and 1:00 AM, the date may not advance correctly on the following day.
- After setting the date, push the crown back to the normal position.
