Product Overview

This document provides information for the Netatmo Smart Door and Window Sensors.

The sensors detect when a door or window is opened or closed, providing real-time alerts and contributing to home security.

Installation Guidance

Important Installation Steps:

• ! Do not affix the Smart Door and Window Sensors until the setup process is fully complete.
• ! Insert batteries into the sensors only when prompted by the Netatmo Security App.

To begin installation:

1. Open the Netatmo Security App.
2. Navigate to the Settings menu.
3. Select "Install new products".
4. Choose "Smart Door and Window Sensors".
5. Follow the on-screen instructions within the app to complete the setup.

EU Declaration of Conformity

Safety Warnings

This device is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless supervised by a responsible adult. Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance.

Before inserting batteries:

• Ensure device and battery contacts are clean.
• Observe correct polarity (+/-) when inserting batteries.
• Do not expose batteries to fire, short-circuit them, or dismantle them.
• Keep batteries away from children.
• Seek immediate medical attention if a battery is swallowed.

Limited Warranty (Australia)

For purchases within Australia, goods are covered by guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. This includes entitlement to replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for other foreseeable loss or damage. Goods will be repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure is not major. The warrantor is Netatmo Limited, Hong Kong. The warranty period is 12 months from purchase from an authorized reseller. Misuse, normal wear and tear, and product modifications are not covered. Batteries and bracelets are excluded as they are expected to be replaced regularly.
