This document provides essential information for getting started with your Huawei MateBook laptop.

Getting Started

Before using the device, view the user guide and other device information at https://consumer.huawei.com/en/support/.

Powering On and Charging

First Use: When using your computer for the first time, simply plug it into a power supply, and it will turn on.

Subsequent Use: When you turn on your computer again, press and hold the power button until the keyboard lights up.

Your computer features a built-in rechargeable battery. Charge it using the adapter and charging cable provided. The indicator light blinks white during charging.

Force Shutdown: Press and hold the power button for more than 10 seconds. Be aware that this action will result in the loss of any unsaved data.

Safety Information

Disposal and Recycling Information

The symbol on the product, battery, or packaging indicates that it should not be disposed of as normal household waste. EEE waste must be taken to separate collection points designated by local authorities to ensure recycling and proper treatment, conserving valuable materials and protecting health and the environment.

RF Exposure Information

For countries adopting the SAR limit of 2.0 W/kg over 10 grams of tissue, the device complies with RF specifications when used at 0.0 cm from the body.

EU Regulatory Conformance

Huawei Device Co., Ltd. declares that this device complies with Directive RED 2014/53/EU, RoHS 2011/65/EU, and ErP 2009/125/EC.

Restrictions in the 5 GHz Band

The 5150 to 5350 MHz frequency range is restricted to indoor use in AT, BE, BG, CH, CY, CZ, DE, DK, EE, EL, ES, FI, FR, HR, HU, IE, IS, IT, LI, LT, LU, LV, MT, NL, NO, PL, PT, RO, SE, SI, SK, TR, UK(NI).

In the UK, this frequency range is restricted to indoor use according to statutory requirements.

The computer may come pre-installed with a third-party operating system or no system at all. Trademarks of third-party operating systems belong to their respective owners. For example, "Microsoft" and "Windows" are trademarks of Microsoft.

Huawei Share Feature

The device supports Huawei Share for wireless file transfer between devices.
