Huawei MateBook Quick Start Guide
This document provides essential information for getting started with your Huawei MateBook laptop.
Getting Started

Powering On and Charging
First Use: When using your computer for the first time, simply plug it into a power supply, and it will turn on.
Subsequent Use: When you turn on your computer again, press and hold the power button until the keyboard lights up.
Your computer features a built-in rechargeable battery. Charge it using the adapter and charging cable provided. The indicator light blinks white during charging.
Force Shutdown: Press and hold the power button for more than 10 seconds. Be aware that this action will result in the loss of any unsaved data.
Safety Information
- To prevent possible hearing damage, avoid listening at high volumes for extended periods.
- Consult your doctor and the device manufacturer to determine if your device might interfere with the operation of your medical device.
- Avoid using the device in dusty, damp, dirty, or near magnetic fields.
- Ideal operating temperatures: 0°C to 35°C. Ideal storage temperatures: -10°C to +45°C.
- When charging, plug the adapter into a nearby, easily accessible socket. Use only approved power adapters and chargers.
- Ensure the power adapter meets IEC/EN 62368-1 requirements and has been tested and approved according to national or local standards.
- The USB-A port can supply up to 5V DC/1A MAX to other devices. The USB-C port can supply up to 5V DC/2A MAX to other devices.
- Avoid placing the device on soft surfaces (like blankets, pillows, sofas) as this can block air vents and cause overheating.
- Unplug the charger from the electrical outlet and the device if it is not used for a long time.
- Keep the battery away from fire, excessive heat, and direct sunlight. Do not place it on or in heating devices. Do not disassemble, modify, throw, squeeze, insert foreign objects, submerge in liquids, or expose to external force or pressure, as this may cause leaks, overheating, fire, or explosion.
- Do not attempt to replace the battery yourself, as this could cause overheating, fire, or injury. The built-in battery should be serviced by Huawei or an authorized service provider.
Disposal and Recycling Information
The symbol on the product, battery, or packaging indicates that it should not be disposed of as normal household waste. EEE waste must be taken to separate collection points designated by local authorities to ensure recycling and proper treatment, conserving valuable materials and protecting health and the environment.

RF Exposure Information
For countries adopting the SAR limit of 2.0 W/kg over 10 grams of tissue, the device complies with RF specifications when used at 0.0 cm from the body.

Restrictions in the 5 GHz Band
The 5150 to 5350 MHz frequency range is restricted to indoor use in AT, BE, BG, CH, CY, CZ, DE, DK, EE, EL, ES, FI, FR, HR, HU, IE, IS, IT, LI, LT, LU, LV, MT, NL, NO, PL, PT, RO, SE, SI, SK, TR, UK(NI).
In the UK, this frequency range is restricted to indoor use according to statutory requirements.

Huawei Share Feature
The device supports Huawei Share for wireless file transfer between devices.
