The keypad uses generic drivers provided by the operating system, so no specific drivers or software are required. Remove the plastic film to activate the pre-installed AAA batteries (see Page 4) and then follow the instructions below to connect.

By decoupling the keypad from your keyboard, you have improved your overall ergonomic setup by allowing closer placement of your mouse or other pointing device when the keypad is not actively being used. When actively using this keyboard, you can place it to the right or left of your keyboard to distribute the workload across both arms. If you have upgraded to a split keyboard, you can even place the keypad between the key modules.

All changes are saved directly to the keypad, not on your computer.

Follow the on-screen prompts to select and then unlock the “Kinesis Keypad” for programming. Click the desired key in the Keymap and use the Action Menu to choose a new action. Click the appropriate OS box to show only Basic USB Actions supported by your computer.
