FAQS
This model does not have HDMI inputs/outputs. It would need an optical audio connection. There will be newer Klipsch soundbars that use HDMI later in 2016
Yes, just change the setting on the tv from tv speakers on to your digital optical setting, different tv’s have different settings, so you may only need to turn off tv speakers in the settings
Yeah it works great with the iPhone Bluetooth. It’s pretty seemless.
It uses TWO (2) bricks. One for the bar and one for the sub-woofer. Even though the sub is wireless to the bar with an advertised range of up to 30 feet, the sub’s 6 foot 4 inch power cord is its real placement restriction.
I have a Samsung 7003 TV and it does not control the soundbar volume. It sounds far better then the TV speakers, so I disabled them when I installed this. I ended up buying a logitech remote to control everything
It turns on when it senses a signal from either a Bluetooth paired device or a directly connected source when it powers on. It shuts off because of the power save feature, if you pause a movie for 5-10 min it no longer senses a source and powers down.
The Bluetooth feature is built in and that is how the soundbar is connected to the subwoffer. The connection from the TV to the sound bar is made with an fiber-optic wire (included) or analog (3 wires) from the TV to soundbar. The connection from the TV to soundbar is not wireless.
There is no wall mount included in the box, its separate. I did not see it in my box. You might have to buy it separately. I hope this answers your question. Look at the box to see if there is a wall mount with it, before you buy it. I did not want a wall mount either way.
Probably not unless you are willing to void the warranty. There is not a place to plug additional speakers on the sub woofer. Plus the remote has a second volume control for the sub woofer.
If the tv has red and white input rca jacks, yes it will work.
i Have a previouse version of these soundbars going to buy the new rb20 and yes it works it with my 60inch vizio anything with an optical output or rca output it works with
I have a set of klipsch r-15pm’s, is it possible to add this into that setup? or possibly just the subwoofer part
I couldn’t get it to sound as loud as the tv I already had. The volume max was 30. I have purchased several sound bars in the past several months and decided on the “Sceptre”
Sound is very good at all levels. However, for the money I’d go with the Bose Cinemate
Not sure about the r-15’s, but the sub woofer that comes with the R-4B connects via Bluetooth. The rest of the speakers are within the sound bar. Call Klipsch, I have found them to be quite helpful. BTW, I really enjoy the R-4B; sounds great with my LG smart tv.
