INSTALL BATTERIES INTO THE WATER LEAK DETECTOR

  1. Step 1: Align the opening of the battery compartment with the opening tool KERUI-W13-Smart-Home-Hub-Gateway-FIG- (6)
  2. Step 2: Press inward after aligning KERUI-W13-Smart-Home-Hub-Gateway-FIG- (7)
  3. Step 3: Turn the tool clockwise once to open ItKERUI-W13-Smart-Home-Hub-Gateway-FIG- (8)
  4. Step 4: Install 2 AAA batteries for each water detector KERUI-W13-Smart-Home-Hub-Gateway-FIG- (9)
  5. Step 5: Close the water detector COVE1r: you can find a protruding line and align both sides. Press them firmly KERUI-W13-Smart-Home-Hub-Gateway-FIG- (10)

Gateway
To turn on the gateway, either hold the [KERUI-W13-Smart-Home-Hub-Gateway-FIG- (11)] key for 1.5 seconds or connect the USB power port to a power source.

Note: If the gateway is 0% charged, the USB power port must be connected to a power source ‘M”len the gateway Is turned on, the red Indicator light on the penal will flash continuously for 30 seconds while the panel connects to Wi-Fi.

  • If the Wi-Fi connection does not occur within 30 seconds, the indicator light will stop flashing.
  • If the Wi-Fi connection occurs within 30 seconds, a blue light will indicate that the panel has been connected to WI-Fl.

CONNECT DEVICES TO THE TUYA SMART APP

Scan the QR code or search “Tuya Smart” in the App Store (Apple) or Play Store (Android) to download and install.

To connect devices to the Tuva Smart app, you will need:

  1. Your Wi-Fi name and password.
  2. To ensure your WI-Fl network is compatible with 2.4 GHz
  3. To turn Bluetooth on your device.

REGISTRATION FOR APP

The first time you open the “Tuya Smart” app, you need to register an account.

CONNECT TO THE TUYA APP

  1. Step 1: Long press theKERUI-W13-Smart-Home-Hub-Gateway-FIG- (25)button on the gateway of the gateway to enter the WI-Fl connection status.
  2. S1ep 2: Turn on the Wi-Fi on your phone and select Bluetooth is turned oc.
  3. Step 3: Enter the ‘Tuya’ app and select ‘Add Device’,

NOTIFICATION SETTINGS

  1. Tum on your phone nottflcetlon (ln the Settings app} for the “Tuya Smart” app.
  2. Turn on notification settings within the Tuya app (click the “Me” tab, the settings icon in the top right corner, and the app notifications tab to configure notifications in the app).

APP OPERATION

In the app device page, you can view the status of the gateway, arm/disarm the gateway remotely, view the history, set the accessories attributes, and set the gateway-related attributes.

Arm
Arm S1atus refers to a full range of on-site alarm detection alert for the home. If all detectors are Tn working state, disturbances wlll trigger the detectors Immediately.

Disarm
Disarm status refers to the status in which the panel turns off the arming function of the alarms. After disarming, when detectors are triggered, the panel will not trigger the alarm (except the detectors of emergency zones and the case when the emergency button is used)

Home Arm,
Homa Arm refers to the case of user(s) residing in the house. For the Home Arm setting, all indoor detectors are turned off to prevent a false alarm, but all perimeter detectors remain armed.

History records: CIiek [History records] to check the operation record of the WI-Fl gateway such as arming, disarming, and past detector triggers.

Accessories: CIiek [Accessories] on the operation page to enter the accessories management page of the app where you can add accessories and sat acc88Sorles attributes.

  1. Name the accessories
  2. Enable the device
  3. Set the properties of the defense zone (Normal: the accessories

will alarm only when the gateway is armed, Emergency: the accessories will alarm when triggered by any state, Stay).
Set the defense zone attributes (Normal: the accessories will alarm only when the gateway is anned; Emergency: the accessories will alarm in any state; Guarded: the accessories with normal attributes will work, but the accessories with guarded attributes will not work after the guard is armed).
Setting the track when a single accessory is triggered.

Setting: Click [Setting] on the operation page to enter the setting page, wtiich can be used for gateway attributes (timed arming and disarming, arming delay, arming and disarming pust, switches, delayed alarm duration, gateway volume, clearing of all accessories, gateway language, and viewing gateway version Tnformatlon).

  • Local Armdelay Setting up delayed arming can be convenient for users to go out. In the case of a time buffer (delayed trigger detector gateway will not alarm), 0-255 seconds can be set;
  • Timer: Users can set up timed arming and disarming and alarm according to their needs
  • Arm or disarm push switch: After opening the arming and disarming of the operating gateway, information will be sent to the connected d8\llce.
  • Volume: Adjust the volume of the gateway broadcast track
  • Entry delay: Setting the alarm delay time can be convenient for users to enter the door in the case of a time buffer (delay in the case of triggering the detector gateway will not immediately alarm; 0-255 seconds can be set
  • Factory reset: Click to confirm to clear all the paired accessories of the gateway.
  • Language: Set the language o”f the gateway’s notifications, history, and accessories displayed on the app.

  • Device Name: Check the gateway name or rename the gateway
  • Device Information: Check the virtual ID, IP address, MAC address, gateway time zone, and signal strength
  • OfflineNotification: Send a reminder when a gateway is disconnected for more than 30 minutes and when a low-power gateway is disconnected for more than 8 hours
  • Share Device: Share the gateway Information with other users.
  • FAQ & Feedback: View solutions to common problems and provide feedback on unresolved issues
  • Device Upgrade: Check the firmware version of the gateway
  • Remove Device: Remove the gateway if no longer needed

TESTING THE DEVICE

  1. Turn on “Arm” within the TLJi8 app:
  2. After successfully adding a water leak detector to the gateway, test the device to ensure it is functioning normally. When the water leak detector is triggered, the gateway broadcasts a tone and sends a notification to the device connected to the gateway.

TROUBLESHOOTING

  1. The gateway supports 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi (5 GHz Wi-Fi is not supported).
  2. The gateway is not wired for power supply.
  3. In the case of poor connection, move the gateway closer to the Wi­Fi router.
  4. If someone alrooc: ly has a connection to your gateway, perform a gateway reset. (General Clearing)

USING THE WATER LEAK DETECTOR

Note: 

  • The bottom of the water detector has four metal probes which are detector sensor. Two metal probes of parallel llnes will lmmedlately alarm when they detect water. But 2 metal probes of diagonal lines will not alarm when they detect water.
  • The device is still not dehydrated after the detector alarm is over, then the flood detector will continue to alarm every 15s until the dehydration or press the button to cancel the alarm, It will not make a regular alarm prompt If It’s stlll Immersed In water after 24 hours.

Power on
Install 2 AAA batteries, and the LED red light will flash once, indicating that the water detector is turned on;
Press and hold the [TEST ] button for 1 0 seconds, and it will make a short beep, Indicating that ls turned on.

Power off
Press and hold the [TEST J button for 1 0 seconds, and the volume will switch once at the 3rd second. At the 10th second, it will make a long ‘beep” sound, indicating that it is turned off:
Remove the battery to turn off the water detector.

Setting Volume
When turned on, press and hold the (TEST J button for 3 seconds to set the volume level to 4 {Dldl Didi – maximum sound). Release it and continue to press and hold for 3 seconds to set the volume level to 3 (Didi Didi), -2 (Didi) -1 (Mute) -4-3-2-1 (only 1 level of volume can be set every 3 seconds)

Note: When you reinstall batteries, it will restore the maximum volume level.

Test
Short press [TEST) key far 1 second, water detector alarm for 2 seconds

SETTING UP THE GATEWAY

  • When the panel Ts connected to WI-Fi, short press the [ q key, the panel will first flash the BLUE light once, beep once (when the volume is maximum or minimum, the panel will first flash the BLUE light twice and beep tw”lca), and play the prompt tone.
  • When the panel is not connected to Wi-Fi, short press the [<Q] key, the panel wlll “first flash the RED light □nae and beep once (when the volume is maximum or minimum, the panel will first flash the RED light twice and beep twice), and then play ” the prompt tone.

Indicator light of the panel
Red , light–*Arm, Green light—-Disarm, Blue light—‘Home

  1. When the panel is not configured with a network, the Arm/Disarm, Home, and Indicator lights will flash.
  2. After the panel has been configured with the network, the indicator light will stay on.
  3. When the panel alarm, t is activated indicator light will briefly flash.

Power off
Press and hold the [KERUI-W13-Smart-Home-Hub-Gateway-FIG- (11)] key for 3 seconds; the panel will beep, and the red Tndlcator light will turn on. After releasing the
[KERUI-W13-Smart-Home-Hub-Gateway-FIG- (11)]key, the panel will report tha power off event to the spp. The rad indicator light will flash 3 times and beep 3 times before powering off.

GATEWAY KEY OPERATION

  • [KERUI-W13-Smart-Home-Hub-Gateway-FIG- (24)] key 1.  Short press: Play melody track in loop.
  • [KERUI-W13-Smart-Home-Hub-Gateway-FIG- (11),] key Short press: Change the status of *arm/Adisarm/’home arm
  • Long press: power-off [KERUI-W13-Smart-Home-Hub-Gateway-FIG- (25)] key
  • Short press: Set the volume level (every time the gateway is powered off, the volume will be at the maximum value)
  • Long press: Enter WI-Fl setting status (Gateway On Pairing) [KERUI-W13-Smart-Home-Hub-Gateway-FIG- (24)] and [KERUI-W13-Smart-Home-Hub-Gateway-FIG- (11)] key, when the gateway is turned on
  • Long press: Enter AP gateway connection KERUI-W13-Smart-Home-Hub-Gateway-FIG- (24)J and [KERUI-W13-Smart-Home-Hub-Gateway-FIG- (25)]key
  • Long press, press the device you want to pair: Add Water Detector Long press 1 Os: Delete all water detectors
  • KERUI-W13-Smart-Home-Hub-Gateway-FIG- (25)J and [KERUI-W13-Smart-Home-Hub-Gateway-FIG- (11)] key, when the gateway is turned off Long press: Reset to factory settings
  • [ KERUI-W13-Smart-Home-Hub-Gateway-FIG- (24)] and [ KERUI-W13-Smart-Home-Hub-Gateway-FIG- (11)] key, when the gateway Is turned off Long press: Reset ta factory settings and unpair all connected devices

Gateway charging or power off
When the USB is charging or powering off, the gateway will beep once, the red indicator light will flash once, and the app will show the mamessage·power connection in the case of charging or “power disconnection” In the case of powering off.

ADD OR DELETE WATER LEAK DETECTORS

Notes: The water detectors are paired with the gateway in advance.)

  1. Long press the KERUI-W13-Smart-Home-Hub-Gateway-FIG- (24) andKERUI-W13-Smart-Home-Hub-Gateway-FIG- (25)keys. The gateway will beep, and the Indicator light will turn yellow.
  2. a. Press the Water Detector TEST key; the gateway will beep twice, and the indicator light will blink twice if successful.
    b. Press the Water Detector TEST key; the gateway will beep once, and the indicator light will blink if the water leak detector has already been added.
    c. Prass the Wat. eErDetector TEST key, the gateway Wlll beep three times and the indicator light will blink 3 times if no more detectors can be added.
    d. Long pressing the [KERUI-W13-Smart-Home-Hub-Gateway-FIG- (24)] and [KERUI-W13-Smart-Home-Hub-Gateway-FIG- (25)] keys cause the gateway to beep four times, and the indicator light will blink 4 times once the water detectors have been deleted.
  3. Short press any button to exit the adding process

Notes: 

  1. To exit the water leak detector pairing state, short press any key on the gateway twice or wait 20 seconds without performing any operations.
  2. The gateway ci:m ppairsup to 24 medal WD71 water leak detectors. (No support for WD70)

Low Battery

  • Low battery reminder: When the gateway power is less than or equal to 20%, the app will send a low battery notification.
  • Low power shutdown: When the gateway battery Ts 0%, the epp will send a shutdown notification, and the LED indicator light will flash 3 times and beep three times before shutting down.
