Product Usage Instructions

  • Follow the installation guide provided in the manual to set up the Portable Tracking Terminal securely.
  • To power on the device, press and hold the power button. To turn it off, press and hold the power button until the device shuts down.
  • The device’s status indicator will show different patterns to indicate various states like network initialization, call/online status, SIM card detection, connection issues, and power status. Refer to the manual for details.
  • If the battery is running low, the device will alert you. Make sure to recharge or replace the battery promptly.

Working Modes

  • Tracking mode: The cellular is always enabled and the device uploads location data in a preset interval that be configured via the platform designated by your dealer.
  • Regular GPS mode (default): The device will wake up at preset intervals to upload location data. The interval can be configured and is 24 hours by default. If the over-Bluetooth clocking feature is enabled, then the device will upload clocking records or Bluetooth-related alerts.
  • Alarm-based mode: The device will wake up to upload location data at the preset alarm time (a maximum of 12 alarm clocks can be set) and enter sleep mode after the upload is complete.
  • Time-block-based mode: The device will wake up to upload location data in the preset time block and enter sleep mode after the upload is complete.

Alerts

  • Low battery alert: This alert is triggered and uploaded when the SoC of the device is lower than 20%.
  • Vibrating alert: This alert is triggered and uploaded when the device detects frequent unexpected vibrations after it is installed and its vibration detection feature is enabled. After this alert is triggered, the device will enable tracking for 10 minutes and then return to its previous working mode, or you can send a command to force the device to exit tracking mode.
  • Tamper alert: This alert is triggered and uploaded when the device detects its ambient environment changing from dark to light after installation (the installation will keep the light sensor in darkness). The device then enables its tracking mode for 10 minutes and then returns to its previous working mode, or you can send a command to force the device to exit the tracking mode.

Use Instruction

SIM Card Attachment

  • Carefully open the upper cover of the device. Slide the SIM card holder to the unlock position and open it up.
  • Place the SIM card in the slot correctly. Close down the holder and slide it to the lock position. Then, mount the cover back.

Power-On and -Off

  • Power the device on: Press and hold the power button for 5 seconds.
  • Shut the device down: Press and hold the power button for 5 seconds.

Device Installation

  • The device is equipped with a strong magnet, which can be attached to any ferromagnetic surface.
  • The holes are reserved for fastening the device with screws or cable ties.

Platform Operations

  • Once the device is bound to the service platform or mobile application designated by the dealer, you can monitor it, configure it, and do more with the platform or application.

Logging In to Service Platform

  • You can configure and control the device via the service platform.

Downloading the Mobile App

  • You can download the mobile app via the URL provided by your dealer.

Precautions About Battery

Please use batteries that are specified by the manufacturer of the device.
The manufacturer will assume no repair liabilities for damages resulting from the use of non-original accessories.

  • Avoid metal objects as they may cause short circuits on battery contacts.
  • Do not bend or forcibly open the battery.
  • Do not soak the battery in water or expose it to fire.
  • It is forbidden to use batteries that are deformed, discolored, spilled, or package-damaged.
  • It is forbidden to disassemble or modify the battery.

Warranty Instructions and Servic

Special Note

  • No prior notice will be given if the product is upgraded due to technological reasons.
  • The appearance or color of the product is subject to the actual.
  • The warranty card applies to the services of repair, replacement, and refund of the product with the following IMEI.
  • Please keep this warranty card and the original purchase receipt together in a safe place, as these will be needed at time of services.

Warranty Terms

  • For damages not caused by human factors, this warranty lasts for one year starting from the date of purchase.
  • You can choose to pay for the repair services in any of the following cases:
    1. The warranty card expires;
    2. No warranty card or valid proof of purchase.
    3. The product, including its accessories, is not within the warranty period.
    4. Quality issues resulted from unauthorized repair, crash, liquid spillage, accident, modification, or incorrect voltage input, or the label, IMEI, or counterfeit mark of the device is broken or scribbled.
    5. Damage caused by installing or using the device without following the instructions in this User Manual;
    6. The warranty does not cover damages resulting from soaking in liquid.
    7. The product model is inconsistent with that on the warranty card, or the warranty card was altered.
    8. Damage caused by force majeure, such as fire, flood, or lightning.

Note
For vehicle trackers

  • As of January 1, 2016, the warranty lasts for 1 (one) year from the date of purchase.

The specific terms are

  1. A full replacement, including accessories, if the product is found defective during the unpacking check (that is, the device has neither been installed nor used);
  2. If a defect occurs within one year after installation, then:
    1. ©Replace only the mainboard if the housing is intact and doesn’t affect normal use; or
    2. @Replace the housing and the mainboard if the housing is defective and affects normal use (Please note that man-made damages will void the replacement service for the housing).
  3. Free repair services will be given to the product if a defect is found during the first year under proper use.
