Product Usage Instructions
Enrollment Process
- Press and hold the button of the fob until the keyfob’s LED
flashes amber. - Keep holding the button until the LED changes color to red
(orange), then release.
Programming
- Navigate to Settings > Advanced Settings > Installation
> Devices > Security Sensors > Auto Learn Sensor. - Press and hold the button of the fob until the keyfob’s LED
flashes amber. - Program the ‘Sensor Group’, ‘Sensor Name’, and ‘Voice Prompts’
as needed. - Select ADD NEW.
Important: Do not program the PG9938 as a Fixed
sensor group. Select only specific sensor groups for proper
functionality.

FAQ
Q: What should I do if the LED on the keyfob flashes only once
or multiple times during enrollment?
A: If the LED flashes only once after holding
for 10 seconds or multiple times, it may indicate that the keyfob
has been enrolled in another panel. Release the button and try
enrolling again.

The PG9938 remote panic button can be enrolled into an IQ4 panel as audible or silent medical, or audible or silent intrusion alarm activation for the system.
Enrollment process: Press and hold the
button of the fob until the keyfob’s LED flashes amber.

Tech Tip: If the LED flashes only once after holding for 10 seconds, or if it flashes
multiple times the keyfob may have been enrolled into another panel.

button and press and hold again.

Tech Tip: Do not program the PG9938 as a Fixed sensor group. Select only: 1 – Mobile Intrusion 3 – Mobile Silent 6 – Mobile Auxiliary 7 – Mobile Silent Auxiliary
25 – Safety Auxiliary Pendent (non-alarm) (Set `Voice Prompts’ to OFF for no zone status annunciation)
If a Fixed sensor group is used the zone may go into supervisory trouble after the supervision window has expired (default 24 hours.)
When supervisory trouble occurs the History tab under Settings > Status will show “Failure” with a time and date stamp of the loss of supervision.
In addition, the device tray on the arming page will show a ” ” for the zone.
