This document contains information and safety regulations which are to be observed without fail for safe operation of the Desktop Charger IS-DCTH1.1 under the described conditions.
Non-observance of this information and instructions can have serious consequences and / or may violate regulations.
Please read the manual and these safety instructions before using the Desktop Charger. In case of contradicting information, the text of these safety instructions shall apply. In case of any doubt, the German version shall apply.

If there is any reason to suspect that the safety of the Desktop Charger has been compromised, it must be withdrawn from use. It is recommended that a Desktop Charger which shows or which is suspected of faults and damages is returned i.safe MOBILE GmbH for inspection.

EX-RELEVANT SAFETY REGUALTIONS
Use of this Desktop Charger assumes that the operator observes the conven-
tional safety regulations and has read and understood manual and safety instructions.
The following safety regulations must also be complied with:
The Desktop Charger may only be used outside ex-hazardous areas in combination with the delivered i.safe PROTECTOR USB cable or other equipment approved by i.safe MOBILE GmbH.
The Desktop Charger may only be used to charge the i.safe MOBILE IS540.x/IS50.x series connected with the IS-TH1xx.x/IS-TH2ER.x.
The Desktop Charger may be used only at temperatures in between +5 °C to +35 °C.
Only accessories approved by i.safe MOBILE GmbH may be used.

FURTHER SAFETY ADVICES
Use the Desktop Charger under indoor conditions only.
Do not use the Desktop Charger near any flammable or explosive substances.
Do not use the Desktop Charger in environments with much dust, humidity, or excessively high or low temperatures.
Do not expose the Desktop Charger to strong magnetic fields, such as are emitted from induction ovens or microwave ovens.
Do not attempt to open or repair the Desktop Charger. Only authorized personnel are allowed to repair the Desktop Charger.
Only use accessories approved by i.safe MOBILE GmbH.
i.safe MOBILE GmbH will not assume any liability for damages caused by disregarding any of these advices or by any inappropriate use of the Desktop Charger.

DESKTOP CHARGER OPERATION
Connect the i.safe PROTECTOR USB cable on the rear side of the Desktop Charger IS-DCTH1.1.
onnect the other end of the i.safe PROTECTOR USB cable to the power supply adapter. Insert the power supply adapter into an AC power socket.
The Desktop Charger IS-DCTH1.1 is equipped with an indicator LED.
The following colors are used:
GREEN > Standby or end of charge
RED > Charging
> To charge the IS530.x/IS540.x, put the IS-TH1xx.x/IS-TH2ER.x connected with the phone into the Desktop Charger IS-DCTH1.1.
When the battery is fully charged, the indicator LED of the Desktop Charger IS-DCTH1.1 is switching to green
The phone may only be charged at ambient temperatures in a range from +5 °C to +35 °C. Please do not use charging equipment if the temperature exceeds this range. Only use the i.safe PROTECTOR USB cable to connect to the Desktop Charger.
Using another cable may cause danger and will void the warranty of the phone and the Desktop Charger.
I.SAFE PROTECTOR
The i.safe PROTECTOR is an USB cable for connecting the Desktop Charger with non-ex-approved equipment. It contains additional safety circuits to protect the Desktop Charger and its device to be loaded from possible faults in the non-ex-approved equipment.
For this reason, charging is only allowed using the i.safe PROTECTOR.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If problems occur, please contact your vendor or i.safe MOBILE GmbH directly.
MAINTENANCE
The device itself has no user serviceable parts. It is recommended to perform inspections according to the safety regulations and advises.
If there is a problem with the device, please contact your vendor or consult the service center.
If your device is in need of repair, you can either contact the service center or your vendor.
RECYCLING
The crossed-out wheeled-bin symbol on your product, battery, literature or packaging reminds you that all electrical and electronic products, batteries and accumulators must be taken to separate collection at the end of their working life.
This requirement applies in the European Union. Do not dispose of these products as unsorted municipal waste.
Always return your used electronic products, batteries and packaging materials to dedicated collection points. This way you help prevent uncontrolled waste disposal and promote the recycling of materials.
