    Question

My HyperX Clutch Wireless Gaming Controller connects to Windows, and the buttons work, but it doesn't respond in games or the game bar. How can I fix this?

    Answer

It sounds like your HyperX Clutch Wireless Gaming Controller is connecting to Windows, but not properly interfacing with games or the game bar. Here are some general troubleshooting steps you can try:

    • Check the connection mode: Ensure the mode selection switch on your controller is set to the correct mode (2.4G or Bluetooth) that you are using to connect to your PC.
    • Re-pair the controller: Try removing the controller from your Windows Bluetooth devices (if using Bluetooth) or unplugging and re-plugging the 2.4GHz wireless adapter. Then, re-pair the controller according to the instructions in the manual.
    • Update drivers: Make sure your Windows operating system and any relevant controller drivers are up to date.
    • Test in different games: Try testing the controller in a few different games to see if the issue is specific to certain applications.
    • Check game settings: Within the game settings, look for controller options and ensure the HyperX Clutch is recognized and selected as the primary input device.
    • Restart your PC: Sometimes a simple restart can resolve connectivity issues.
