Compatibility switch
Using the Adapter with Your Console
The Controller Adapter allows you to switch between
Console mode and PC/Mac® mode. Make sure that your anode is configured before plugging your adapter into a evince.
Console Mode for Nintendo Switch®
- Make sure the compatibility switch on your adapter is set to CONSOLE Mode.
- Plug in your controller for N64° into the adapter controller port.
- Insert the USB end of the adapter into a free port on your dock.
Note: Controller inputs and functionality may vary depending on game compatibility. The Controller Adapter is not compatible with extension port accessories.
You can enable alternate button layouts by holding either the L button, R button, L and R buttons, C-Up button, C-Down button, C-Right button, or C-Left button on your controller as you insert your adapter into a USB ort on your dock. If you do not hold down any of the buttons, your button layout will be in the default layout.
- You can also change your inputs in your game’s settings if your game allows it.
- The remapping function only works when plugging in the adapter. If you switch controllers via the controller port on the adapter, the button layout will not change.
- Unplugging the adapter from the dock, turning off Hour console, or your console going into Sleep mode we cause the button input remapping to revert to the default layout.
PC / Mac® Mode
- Make sure the compatibility switch is set to PC Mode.
- Plug in your controller for N64° into the adapter controller port.
- Insert the USB end of the adapter into a free USB port on your PC or Mac®.
- Make sure to configure your controller inputs via the game settings. Setup and functionality may vary expending on your device.
Note: You can also enable alternate button layouts by holding either the L button, R button, L and R buttons, C-Up button, C-Down button, C-Right button, or C-Left button on your controller as you insert your adapter into a USB port on your computer. The Controller Adapter is not compatible with extension port accessories.
