Introduction
This manual provides detailed information on the features, operation, and safety precautions for the Caliber HPG 340BT portable Bluetooth speaker.
Safety Precautions
Please read this manual carefully before using the device and its components. It contains instructions for safe and effective use. Caliber Europe BV is not responsible for problems arising from failure to follow these instructions.
- Immediate Action for Problems: If a problem occurs, turn off the device immediately. Failure to do so may result in personal injury or damage to the product. Return it to your authorized Caliber Europe BV dealer for repair.
- Product Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth for regular cleaning. For stubborn stains, dampen the cloth with water only. Avoid using other cleaning agents, as they may dissolve paint or damage plastic.
- Temperature: Ensure the ambient temperature is between 0°C and +45°C before turning on the device.
- Maintenance: Do not attempt to repair the device yourself if you experience problems. Return it to your authorized Caliber Europe BV dealer for servicing.
- Placement: Place the product on a flat surface. Ensure adequate space around the product for sufficient ventilation.
- Heat: Do not place the appliance near a heat source or in direct sunlight.
- Voltage: Check that the main voltage indicated on the adapter/product rating label matches your local electricity supply. If not, return the product to the store where it was purchased.
- Plug: Remove the plug from the outlet when the product is unused for an extended period and during thunderstorms.
- Accessories: Use only the supplied accessories.
- Battery Replacement: The built-in rechargeable battery is not replaceable. Do not remove, replace, or dispose of the battery in household waste or fire. Use only the supplied charging adapter.

Product Overview and Controls
The HPG 340BT is a portable speaker with various playback options. The numbers in parentheses refer to the keys or connections on the device.
- 1. Speakers: Located on both ends of the device.
- 2. Easy carrying strap: For convenient portability.
- 3. ⏻ Power ON/OFF switch:
- Press short to turn ON.
- Long press to turn OFF.
- TWS Pairing: In Bluetooth mode, press and hold this button (until a sound is heard) to pair a second HPG 340BT speaker.
- 4. ▶️ Play / Pause: Controls playback, allowing you to play or pause music.
- 5. ?️ Mode: Press short to cycle through playback modes: Bluetooth, AUX-IN, Micro SD card (if available), and USB (if available).
- 6. ⏪ Previous track / Volume decrease:
- Short press: Selects the previous track.
- Long press: Decreases the volume.
- 7. ⏩ Next track / Volume increase:
- Short press: Selects the next track.
- Long press: Increases the volume.
- 8. ? USB port: Plays MP3/WMA songs from a USB stick (up to 64GB).
- 9. ? SD reader: Plays MP3/WMA songs from a Micro SD card (up to 64GB).
- 10. ? LED indicator: Displays the current status, such as charging mode or Bluetooth connection status.
- 11. ⚡ DC Input Micro-USB: Connection for charging the built-in battery.
- 12. ? AUX-in: Optional wired connection using a 3.5mm jack-to-jack cable (included).
Operating Instructions
Battery Charging
The device features a built-in rechargeable battery and comes with a USB power cable. Use a USB adapter (5V 2A recommended) and connect it to the DC-in port (11). The LED indicator (10) will glow red while charging and turn off when the battery is fully charged. Charging time is approximately 2-4 hours. The device can operate using its internal battery without the charging cable. Battery life varies depending on usage; heavy bass music consumes more power than spoken word.
Bluetooth Connection
- Turn on the speaker.
- Press the [MODE] button (5) to select Bluetooth mode. The LED indicator (10) will flash blue rapidly.
- On your Bluetooth-enabled device, navigate to its Bluetooth menu and select 'Search'.
- Choose 'HPG340BT_CAL' from the list of available devices.
- If prompted, confirm the pairing with the access key: "0000".
- Once paired successfully, you will hear a confirmation sound, and the LED indicator will flash blue slowly. You can now play music from your device. If your device supports AVRCP, you can use the speaker's buttons to control playback.
- To disconnect the Bluetooth connection, long press the [MODE] button (5).
Playing from USB-stick or Micro SD card
- Turn the speaker ON.
- Insert a USB stick into the port (8) or a Micro SD card into the slot (9). The stored music will play automatically.
- While playing, press [⏪] or [⏩] (6/7) to select the previous or next song.
Note: If a USB/SD card is inserted while the speaker is in Bluetooth or AUX input mode, playback will start automatically. To return to the previous mode, press the [MODE] button.
AUX-IN
You can connect an external device, such as an MP3 player, to the AUX-in port (12) using the included jack-to-jack audio cable.
- When an external device is connected, the speaker will automatically switch to Aux-in mode.
- Start playing music on your external device.
Note: The playback controls on the speaker will not function in this mode. You cannot switch to Bluetooth mode using the [Mode] button.
TWS (True Wireless Stereo)
This feature allows you to pair two identical speakers for a more powerful stereo sound experience.
- Turn on two identical speakers that you wish to pair. Ensure they have the same BT pairing name. You only need to configure one of the two devices.
- Long press the [⏻] button (3) on one of the speakers. This speaker will emit a tone to start pairing and will emit three tones when successfully paired.
- Establish a Bluetooth connection with your mobile phone to play music through the two paired speakers for a more powerful stereo sound.
- To exit TWS mode, long press the [⏻] button (3) again.
Notes:
- Users must first establish a TWS connection, then a Bluetooth connection with the mobile phone.
- In TWS mode with Bluetooth connected, long pressing the TWS button (3) will disconnect both the TWS connection and the Bluetooth connection.
- If your mobile phone is connected to the device via the provided audio cable in TWS mode, it will play AUX audio via the TWS function. In this status, you cannot switch to Bluetooth mode by pressing the Mode button.
Disposal Information
Old appliances and/or batteries must not be disposed of with household garbage. Users are legally obliged to dispose of old appliances and/or batteries separately from household waste, for example, at a collection point in their municipality or district.
