JBL Headphones App
Enhance your listening experience with the JBL Headphones app. Get more control and personalization by downloading the free app from the Google Play Store or the App Store.
Scan the QR code to download the app.
Power On & Connect
To power on your headphones, press and hold the power button. To enter pairing mode, press and hold the power button for 2 seconds.
Connecting to Android™ 6.0+
- Turn on Bluetooth on your device.
- Select "JBL LIVE770NC" from the list of available devices.
- Tap "Connect".
Connecting to Windows 10 V1803+
- Turn on Bluetooth on your Windows device.
- Your device may show a "New JBL LIVE770NC found" notification. Tap "Connect".
- If not, go to Bluetooth settings, find "JBL LIVE770NC", and connect.
The headphones support Fast Pair and Microsoft Swift Pair for quick connections.
Multi-point Connection
Connect to two devices simultaneously. Maximum 2 devices can be connected.
To switch between connected devices, you may need to press the button once.
Controls
The headphones feature intuitive controls:
- Volume Up/Down: Press the '+' or '-' buttons.
- Play/Pause/Skip Track: Use the center button. Press once to play/pause, twice to skip forward, three times to skip backward.
- Call Management: Press the center button once to answer/end a call. Press and hold to reject an incoming call.
- Voice Assistant: Press and hold the center button to activate Google Assistant, Alexa, or other voice assistants.
Advanced Controls: For advanced features like ANC, Ambient Aware, TalkThru, and voice assistant customization, connect your JBL LIVE770NC to the JBL Headphones app.
Smart Features
- Auto Play/Pause: The headphones automatically pause music when removed and resume when worn. This feature can be managed in the JBL Headphones app.
- VoiceAware: Adjust how much of your own voice you hear during calls via the JBL Headphones app (Low, Mid, High settings).
- Wired Listening Mode: Connect the included audio cable for listening without Bluetooth. ANC, Ambient Aware, and TalkThru modes are still functional.

Hands-Free Voice Control
Use your voice to control your headphones and access services.
Google Assistant Commands:

Note: Only available on Android™. Pre-set up is required.
Alexa Commands:
- "Alexa, play today's hits"
- "Alexa, volume up."
- "Alexa, skip this song."
- "Alexa, what's the weather?"
- "Alexa, turn off the TV."
- "Alexa, start my commute"
Note: Android™ 6.0 or higher is required for full access to Alexa features. Alexa isn't available in all locations.
Charging
Full Charge: Approximately 3 hours.
Quick Charge: 5 minutes of charging provides up to 4 hours of playback.
Use the included USB-C cable to charge your headphones.
Factory Reset
To reset your headphones to factory settings, press and hold both the Volume Up (+) and Volume Down (-) buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds.
LED Indicators
- Low Battery: Red flashing indicator.
- Charging: Solid red indicator.
- Fully Charged: Indicator turns off or changes color (refer to specific model behavior, typically off when fully charged).
- Bluetooth Connecting: Blue flashing indicator.
- Bluetooth Connected: Solid blue indicator.
- Bluetooth Not Connected: Blue flashing indicator.
- ANC/Ambient Aware/TalkThru: Indicator may show white or blue light.
