Product safety
General Instructions:
- Before using the label printer for the first time, carefully read the user manual to ensure that the device has been properly configured and installed.
- The label printer is intended for use only in dry indoor environments. Avoid exposing the device to water, moisture, or extreme temperatures.
Power Supply:
- The label printer can be powered in three ways:
- Rechargeable (Lithium-ion battery): Before first use, ensure the battery is fully charged using the provided charger or cable.
- Alkaline batteries: When powered by batteries, ensure you use the correct type compatible with the device’s requirements. Regularly check the battery status to avoid depletion.
- Mains power: If the device is plugged into an outlet, ensure the power voltage matches the device’s requirements and that the power cable is in good working condition.
Battery Replacement/Charging:
- If the device uses a lithium-ion battery, ensure it is regularly charged according to the manufacturer’s recommendations. Avoid fully discharging the battery to 0% (it is recommended to maintain at least 20% charge).
- For alkaline batteries, replace them with new ones compatible with the instructions to ensure uninterrupted device operation.
- Batteries or the rechargeable battery should be replaced or charged according to the recommendations to prevent damage.
Using Consumables:
- Ensure you use the correct labels compatible with the device. Using unsuitable materials may damage the device or reduce print quality.
- Regularly check the condition of label rolls and replace them when they are nearly depleted.
Protection Against Damage:
- The label printer is an electronic device, so avoid exposing it to shocks, falls, moisture, or very low or high temperatures.
- Ensure that power cables, including charging cables, are not damaged and are adequately protected from being crushed or pinched.
Maintenance and Cleaning:
- Regularly clean the label printer from dust and dirt using a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using chemicals that may damage the device’s surface.
- Frequently check the condition of the roller, print head, and other components that may become dirty and affect print quality.
Protection Against Interference:
- Avoid using the label printer near sources of electromagnetic interference, such as large electrical devices or other devices that generate strong magnetic fields, which may affect its operation.
- Ensure the device operates in suitable conditions, free from strong vibrations or sudden atmospheric changes.
Storing the Device:
- If the label printer will not be used for an extended period, disconnect it from the power source (if plugged in) or ensure the battery is properly charged.
- Store the device in a dry, cool place away from moisture, high temperatures, and direct sunlight.
Adhering to these guidelines will help ensure the safe and efficient use of the label printer, extending its lifespan and maintaining high print quality.
