SAMPLE SysEx file converter for LIVEN Lofi-12 Manual
This application converts SysEx files that have been exported from the LIVEN Lofi-12 to Wav files.

Procedure for Converting Audio files
- Prepare a .syx file that you want to convert to a Wav file. Export from the LIVEN Lofi-12 or download presets from the SONICWARE download page: https://sonicware.jp/pages/downloads
When exporting from the LIVEN Lofi-12, please refer to the next page for the operation of the MIDI receiving software. - Drag and drop the .syx file into this application. You will see the name of the SysEx file listed on the .syx file: label.
You can also select the file using the "Choose a file..." button. - Listen to the sample using the ▶ button on the "Preview" column.
- Press the "Download Wav file" button. A Wav file will be downloaded.
Preparing to receive a SysEx file via MIDI
Follow the instruction manual for your USB-MIDI interface, connect it to your PC/Mac, and configure the USB-MIDI settings. Then, connect the MIDI IN of the USB-MIDI interface to the MIDI OUT of the LIVEN Lofi-12 with a MIDI cable.

[Note] Use new batteries or an AC adapter. Never interrupt the power while importing.
Receiving a SysEx file via MIDI
[for PC]
- Double-click the MIDI-OX application to launch it.
- From the Options menu, select MIDI Devices... and select the USB-MIDI interface connected to your PC.

- Press Done when finished receiving data.

- Double-click the SysEx Librarian application to launch it.
- Click Act as a source for other programs and select the USB-MIDI interface connected to your Mac.

- Press Done when finished receiving data.

Troubleshooting
If the exporting fails, adjust the buffer size and transmission speed, and receive the SysEx file again.
[for PC]
In the Configure menu, double the Num and Size values for Low Level Input Buffers and try to be receiving it again.
[for Mac]
In the Preferences, try extending the SysEx receive timeout. If it does not work, try extending the timeout further.
