Introduction
This document describes the known issues or problems with the indicated firmware version of the m701. These issues will be resolved in future updates.

Product Usage Instructions
Known Issues/Bugs
- Network password is disabled.
- Front panel log dumping to a USB drive is active, but the front panel does not give notice when the log dump is done. Wait for 20 seconds after initiating log dump before removing the USB drive. Log dumps can also be initiated from the GraceNet web UI.
- Small bursts of noise can be captured from ADCs on sample rate changes.
- Meters may show erroneous data from boot until a valid clock source is selected or when the sample rate changes.
- Sometimes the front panel power switch will not turn the m701 off. In this case the AC power switch can be used on the rear panel.
- The system may behave unpredictably after changing the serial number, hostname, or IP settings. We recommend rebooting the unit after changing these values.
- DAC modules may output pops and noise during power-on and off. If connected directly to loudspeakers, we recommend powering off amplifiers before turning the m701 on or off. This will be fixed in the next firmware release.
- Firmware update does not work unless the m701 has been connected to a network that has access to the internet and date/time servers. Contact Grace Design tech support if this is an issue.
