Introduction

A top-loading CD player with a 20 track programmable memory and the ability to play CD and CD-R/RW discs is included with the GPX BC112 Portable Boombox. It is simple to tell what track number is currently playing thanks to the 2-digit red LED display. This music system is ideal for those on the go because it has a direct tune AM/FM radio, a telescopic FM antenna, and an AM antenna that is already built-in. Users can play their favourite tunes directly from their MP3 music players thanks to a 3.5mm audio line input and built-in speakers. Each Portable Boombox includes an AC power line as standard equipment, but it can also run cordlessly on six C batteries (sold separately). The Boombox, an AC power cord, a warranty card, and an instruction manual are all included in the box.

GPX has provided one of the most comprehensive portfolios of technology-driven consumer audio and video products for over 30 years. An industry leader in consumer electronics, GPX has established a strong reputation for its superior product quality, dependability, design, and pricing. \

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Where to plug in the headphones?
I also wanted to use it with headphones but it doesn’t seem to have that function. The place by the volume control is to plug an mp3 player into (input but not output), so I guess that you can’t use headphones with this product (bummer).
  • Does this shut off by itself when done playing, I want to use it at bedtime?
Yes, but I wouldn’t purchase it ,it seems to make a buzzing sound when not playing and still plugged in. Not a high-quality item.
  • Is the FM antenna internal or external/telescoping?
I got mine on December 11, 2017. The website says Telescoping FM antenna and built-in AM antenna. Mine DOES NOT have a Telescoping FM antenna. Instead, it says it is a built in FM AND AM antenna. So the website description is not correct.
  • Does play on battery power?
Yes, it plays with batteries only its great you can carry it around and listen to it on the beach, park, or whatever you like, with no cord stopping you.
  • Could you please tell me which is the pause button?
As far as I remember all the pauses and starts etc are all on the same button.
  • I would like to replace this item radio worked for 40 days. With Amazon not being able to help at this time how do I contact the seller directly?
I have no idea. I would Google it. I purchased a lot at Walmart but can’t remember the brand. We purchase 5 to 10 radios at a time to donate to patients in an infirmary in Jamaica. Not from the same place, nor the same brand. You’re the second person to ask this question about it not working, so it gives me pause to purchase anymore. And not all have been donated yet.
  • I would like to replace this item radio worked for 40 days. With Amazon not being able to help at this time how do i contact the seller directly?
Go look at your history of orders list.
  • What are those two large knobs at each end? Volume control? FM tuner?
Facing the unit the knob on the left is the volume control. The knob on the right for setting the tuner for the radio.
  • Is the ac power cord 3 prong (hospital requirement)?
No, it is not a 3-prong powder cord.
  • I have had one of these on order for a while. Now that they are available, why has it not shipped yet?
Mine also was late being shipped. When I finally received it the volume didn’t work and I returned it.
