Product Usage Instructions
Setting up the Servo-c
- Plug in the power cord.
- Switch ON the ventilator by pulling the ON/OFF switch downwards.
- Connect the oxygen and air hoses.
- Lock the wheels on the cart.
- Start the PRE-USE CHECK by following the on-screen instructions. Note that you will need the test tube during this check. The patient circuit test is included but can also be selected separately.
- Choose the PATIENT CATEGORY: adult or pediatric.
- Choose the VENTILATION TYPE: invasive or non-invasive (optional).
- Calculate Predicted Body Weight (PBW) automatically by tapping PBW and entering patient gender and height. For pediatric patients, enter the patient’s weight. Tidal Volume in ml/kg will now be monitored.
- Tap VENTILATION MODES. If you tap and hold on a mode, you will get more information.
- Choose a mode and adjust the settings accordingly.
- Some settings have dynamic images.
- The safety scale can be expanded by tapping on it.
- Change the alarm limits in the alarm window.
- Tap START VENTILATION to begin.
