Installation:
- Unplug the ventilation unit before starting.
- Choose a convenient location for the control on the wall.
- Route a cable (type 22/4) from the unit to the control
location. - Mark and drill mounting screw holes for the control.
- Strip the cable end to access the 4 wires and strip each wire
end. - Connect the wires to the control terminals using screws,
regardless of wire color. - Mount the control securely on the wall.
Usage Instructions:
- Based on the fresh air system installed, connect the control to
the unit’s terminal connector following one of the four illustrated
models. - Ensure to match wire colors with the correct terminals as noted
during installation. - The indicator on the control will light up according to the
selected duration, and the system will exchange air at maximum
speed.
FAQ:
Q: Can this control be used with a previous generation
auxiliary control?
A: In a retrofit application, this control cannot share a 3-wire
connection with previous generation auxiliary controls. A dedicated
cable is required for proper functionality.
Q: What should I do if the indicator light does not turn
on?
A: Check the wiring connections and ensure they are secure. If

The illustrations in this document are generic; your control appearance may be slightly different from the ones shown.
! WARNING
Electrical wiring must be done by qualified personnel in accordance with all applicable codes and standards. Before connecting wires, unplug the unit or switch power off at service panel and lock service disconnecting means to prevent power from being switched on accidentally. Always wear safety glasses and gloves while performing these instructions.
INSTALLATION Unplug the ventilation unit.
Remote 6 & 7 positions terminals
12V LED OVR Gnd
Cut a 27/8″ x 1¾” hole in a wall, at a
convenient location for the control. Route a cable (type 22/4) for the control from the unit to this hole. See figure at right.

Remote 10 positions terminal
Temporarily place the control over the
hole and mark both mounting screw hole positions.

Remove the control, drill both screw
holes (3/16″ Ø) in wall and insert the wall anchors (included).

Strip the end of the cable to access the 4 wires (about 3″). Strip
the end of each wire (about 1/4″). Use screws to fix the wires to the control terminals, regardless of the wire color. Note which wire color has been chosen for each terminal. Pull slightly on each wire to make sure they are firmly connected.

NOTE: The auxiliary wall control can be used with a 3-wire connection by removing the LED signals. In 3-wire, the control will activate LEDs according to the mode selected directly on it (20-40-60), but the LEDs will not interact after others auxiliary controls in the same installation are activated. In retrofit application, this control cannot share a 3-wire connection with previous generation auxiliary controls. A dedicated cable is required.
Plug the ventilation unit and test the wall control.
HOW TO USE THE CONTROL

Depending on the type of fresh air system installed,
perform the electrical connection to the terminal connector of the unit as per one of the four models illustrated hereafter. For more details, refer to the installation manual of the ventilation unit.
NOTE: To avoid miswiring, refer to the notes taken at step
to match the wire color with the right terminal.
The main button works following this sequence: · Click 1 = 20 min · Click 2 = 40 min · Click 3 = 60 min · Click 4 = OFF · and so on
The indicator lights up as per the selected duration and the system exchanges air at MAX speed.

Découper un trou de 27/8 po x 1¾ po
dans un mur, à un endroit pratique pour l’emplacement de la commande. À partir de l’appareil, acheminer un câble (type 22/4) pour la commande jusqu’à ce trou. Voir ci-contre.

Placer la commande temporairement
au-dessus du trou et marquer la position des deux trous pour les vis de montage.

Retirer la commande, percer les deux
trous (3/16 po Ø) des vis dans le mur et y insérer les douilles à expansion (incluses).

Dégainer l’extrémité du câble pour accéder aux 4 fils (environ
3 po). Dénuder le bout de chaque fil (environ 1/4 po). Utiliser les vis pour connecter les fils aux bornes, sans tenir compte de la couleur des fils. Pour chaque borne, prendre en note la couleur de fil choisie. Tirer légèrement sur chaque fil pour s’assurer qu’ils sont bien connectés.

NOTE : La commande murale auxiliaire peut être utilisée avec une

une connexion à 3 fils, la commande activera ses DEL

selon le mode choisi (20-40-60), mais ces mêmes DEL ne
seront pas activées si d’autres commandes auxiliaires dans
la même installation sont activées. Lors d’installation avec
une ancienne génération d’appareil, cette commande ne peut
utiliser une connexion à 3 fils partagée avec d’anciennes
commandes; elle doit avoir son propre câble dédié.
Brancher l’appareil de ventilation et tester la commande murale.
COMMENT UTILISER LA COMMANDE
Assembler la commande au mur.
