- Switch to Bluetooth mode
- When the keyboard remains unplugged, push the switch on the back to the left/right for Windows/Mac mode respectively. Long press Fn + E / R / T to start pairing. Blue LEDs under E / R / T will flash quickly.
- When the keyboard is plugged in via USB, it enters Bluetooth mode automatically. Long press Fn + E / R / T to enable pairing. Blue LEDs under E / R / T will flash quickly.
- Set the Bluetooth profile
The keyboard supports Bluetooth 5.0 (Akko 3098BT-1 / Akko 3098BT-2 / Akko 3098BT-3) and Bluetooth 3.0 (AKKO 3098 BT3.0). The system memorizes the last connected device.

- Bluetooth Pairing
Pair with PC, Pad, smartphone with Bluetooth on. Device names like Akko 3098 BT3.0 (Bluetooth 3.0) and Akko 3098-1 (Bluetooth 5.0) will appear. Select based on preference. Note: some devices may only find Bluetooth 5.0.
- Switch the Bluetooth device
After pairing up to 4 devices, press Fn+E / Fn+R / Fn+T / Fn+Y for 3 seconds to switch between them.
- Shut off the keyboard
Turn off the power switch on the back panel for power saving. The keyboard enters sleep mode after 10 minutes of inactivity and can be woken by pressing any key. Windows power saving mode may affect sleep/wake times.
- Reset the keyboard
If you forget the paired device or experience connection issues, remove the 3098 keyboard from your computer's connected device list to clear the Bluetooth cache.
Key/Lighting Effects Customization Instruction
- Key/lighting effects customization requires wired mode and the Akko driver.
- In wired mode, lighting effects can sync with music using the Akko driver.
- Download the Akko Cloud driver from the Akko website.
- Driver download available at en.akkogear.com.
Akko Warranty and Service Statement
- Akko provides a 1-year warranty for customers in mainland China. Contact your seller (Akko distributor) for other regions.
- Out-of-warranty repairs incur charges based on market average prices.
- Disassembling the keyboard voids the warranty, even within the first year.
- Return and warranty policies may vary by platform and distributor.
