Operation Guide
(1) BASS/TREBLE:
- Rotate directly to adjust the bass volume.
- Short press and then rotate to adjust the treble volume.
(2) MIC VOL/ECHO:
- Rotate directly to adjust the microphone volume.
- Short press and then rotate to adjust the ECHO.
(3) Power/Source:
- Long press for 2 seconds to power on/off.
- Short press to switch between audio sources—Bluetooth, AUX mode, and USB mode.
(4) Play/Pause/ :
- Short press to pause/play music. (Note: In AUX mode, short press the button to mute the speaker.)
- When the speaker is connected to a Bluetooth device, long press for 2 seconds to disconnect the connected Bluetooth device and enter Bluetooth pairing mode.
(5) Volume -/Previous:
- Short press to decrease the volume. In Bluetooth and USB mode, long press to switch to the previous song.
(6) Volume +/Next:
- Short press to increase the volume. In Bluetooth and USB mode, long press to switch to the next song.
(7) Indicator Light :
- Standby indicator: Bluetooth/Orange light — AUX/Orange light — USB/Orange light. When switching audio sources, the indicator light flashes orange. When the audio source is connected, the prompt tone sounds and the indicator light remains orange. When the power is low, the indicator light flashes red.
- Charging indicator: speaker being charged: red indicator light is always on; speaker fully charged: green indicator light is always on.
(8) AUX Mode:
- Connect the speaker to the device with the signal cable and switch to AUX mode to play music.
(9) USB Mode:
- Insert a USB flash drive and switch to USB mode to play music.
(10) Power Input:
- Plug in the AC power cord and connect the power supply.
(11) Restore Factory Settings :
- Long press the “+” button for 8 seconds to clear the speaker’s Bluetooth pairing history, reset the volume to default, and switch to Bluetooth mode (microphones will synchronously reset the default volume and Original Mode if connected).
(12) Bluetooth Mode :
- Press the ”
” button to switch to Bluetooth mode (the standby indicator light flashes when Bluetooth is not paired), turn on the device’s Bluetooth, search for “F&D RW40”, and click to pair.
- When pairing is successful, the Bluetooth mode tone sounds and the standby indicator light is always on.
- If a password is required, please input “0000”.
(13) TWS Operating Instructions :
- TWS connection is supported and up to two RW40 speakers can be connected to achieve TWS stereo sound. The operation is as follows:
- Turn on the speakers and switch to Bluetooth mode, and make sure they are not connected to any Bluetooth device.
- Double-click the ”
” button on either speaker to enter the TWS pairing state.
- Once connected, the tone sounds, the host speaker standby indicator flashes slowly, and the vice speaker standby indicator is always on.
- Turn on the device’s Bluetooth and search for “F&D RW40” to connect. After successful connection, both standby indicator lights are always on and ready to play music.
- Double-click the”
” button on either speaker to disconnect the TWS connection.
(14) Auto Shutdown :
- If there is no audio connection, the speaker will automatically turn off after 15 minutes of inactivity without button presses or audio playback.
(15) Speaker is silent, what should I do?
- Please check if the battery is sufficient.
- Please check if the volume is minimized or if you have pressed pause in AUX mode.
- Please check if the Bluetooth device is turned on and whether the connection is successful or normal.
- In Bluetooth mode, if the sound is cut off, please move the speaker closer to the Bluetooth device.
- In Bluetooth mode, to ensure the best use of the speaker, please set the Bluetooth device to an appropriate volume.
- If the Bluetooth connection fails, please restart the speaker, and then reconnect the Bluetooth device.
- For further assistance or inquiries, please contact us(refer to the after-sales service card for details).
CAUTION
- No exposed flame sources, such as lighted candles, should be placed on the speaker.
- Ventilation holes should not be covered with items such as newspapers, tablecloths and curtains that would prevent ventilation.
- The speaker must not be left in a wet environment, and must not be exposed to rain or strong shocks.
- Items such as vases filled with liquids should not be placed on the speaker.
- If debris or liquid accidentally falls into the speaker, immediately disconnect the power supply and have it inspected by a professional before use.
- Do not open the back cover so as to prevent electric shock and other accidents. If the speaker needs repairing, contact the company’s personnel for service.
- This product uses indoor 100V-240V~50/60Hz 0.85A AC power supply.
- Operating ambient temperature: 0 – 45°C, Charging ambient temperature: 0-30℃
- Altitude not higher than 2000m.
- Batteries must not be squeezed or cut, as this may cause an explosion.
- Do not expose the battery to extremely high temperatures/low air pressure, as this may cause the battery to explode or trigger the leakage of flammable liquids or gases.
- If the battery is not replaced properly there is a risk of explosion, and it can only be replaced with the same type or equivalent type of battery.

Microphone Quick Guide
Power:
- Long press to switch on/off. Power on, indicator light constant; power off, indicator light off.
Volume:
- Short press volume +, the indicator light flashes once, and the microphone volume increases.
- Short press volume -, the indicator light flashes once, and the microphone volume decreases.
- Volume adjustment ranges from 0 to 9. When the volume is increased to the maximum/decreased to the minimum, the indicator light flashes twice quickly.
Function key:
- Short press to switch between Karaoke sound modes (Original Mode, Singing Idol Mode, Robot Mode, Child Mode, Studio Mode, Host Mode, Popular Mode).
- Long press to switch between 5 frequencies, and the indicator light flashes twice.
Power Input:
- Connect the Type-C cable for charging. When charging, the red light is on. When fully charged, the green light is on (the red light flashes slowly when the battery is low, please charge in time).
What to do when microphone cannot connect to speaker or makes no sound?
- Make sure microphone can be powered on normally and the battery is sufficient.
- Power on speaker first, then turn on microphone. Microphone should automatically connect to speaker.
- Within 30 seconds after speaker is powered on, while microphone is off, press and hold “ ” button and “M” button on microphone for 3 seconds. The red indicator light on microphone flashes rapidly, initiating the pairing. Once the connection is successful, the red indicator light stays on.
What to do when microphone makes abnormal sounds, noise, or intermittent sound?
- Note that microphone has a built-in Robot sound mode; please differentiate it from other sounds.
- While microphone is connected to speaker, press and hold “M” button on microphone for 2 seconds.
- The red indicator light on microphone flashes twice and then stays on. Test microphone again to confirm normal operation. If the issue persists, repeat the process until the sound is normal.
Note: Microphone automatically turns off when being charged and cannot be used.
