Note: The Yealink W76P DECT IP phone consists of one W70B base station and one W56H handset.
Assembling the DECT Phone

Connect the base station power and the network using method a or method b:
- a. AC Power Option: Connect the power adapter to the base station and a power outlet.
- b. PoE (Power over Ethernet) Option: Connect the base station to an IEEE 802.3af compliant PoE Hub/Switch using an Ethernet cable.
Note: If using method a, use the Yealink supplied power adapter (5V/0.6A). A third-party power adapter may damage the base station. If using method b, ensure the hub/switch is PoE-compliant.

Desktop Installation: Attach and remove the base stand.
- Attach: Align the snap-fits with the corresponding holes and push forward, snapping them into the holes.
- Remove: Remove the snap-fits from the holes horizontally.

Wall-Mount Installation: Attach the base station to the wall. Ensure a 59mm spacing for mounting.

Insert the battery into the handset.

Attach the belt clip to the handset.

Optional: Mount the charging cradle to the wall. Ensure a 36mm spacing for mounting.

Connect the charging cradle and charge the handset.
Note: Use the Yealink-supplied power adapter (5V/0.6A). A third-party power adapter may damage the handset. Check the charging status on the top-right corner of the LCD screen.
Hardware Component Instructions
The handset includes the following components:
- 1. Receiver: For listening during calls.
- 2. Power LED Indicator: Indicates the power status of the handset.
- 3. Phone Screen: Displays information and menus.
- 4. Soft Keys: Context-sensitive keys below the screen.
- 5. Message Key: Accesses voicemail messages.
- 6. Speakerphone Key: Activates the speakerphone.
- 7. Navigation Keys: Used for navigating menus and options.
- 8. OK Key: Confirms selections.
- 9. On-hook Key/Power Key: Ends calls or powers the device on/off.
- 10. Off-hook Key: Initiates or answers calls.
- 11. Keypad: For dialing numbers and entering information.
- 12. TRAN Key: Used for transferring calls.
- 13. Mute Key: Mutes or unmutes the microphone.
- 14. Microphone: For speaking during calls.

Safety Instructions
General Requirements
- Keep the device dry and clean, avoid collision and crash during storage, transportation, and operation.
- Do not attempt to dismantle the device yourself. Contact an appointed maintenance center for repair.
- Respect relevant laws and statutes, and the legal rights of others.
Environmental Requirements
- Place the device in a well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight.
- Keep the device dry and free of dust.
- Do not place the device on or near inflammable or fire-vulnerable objects.
- Keep the device away from heat sources like candles or electric heaters.
Operating Requirements
- Do not let children operate the device without guidance.
- Do not let children play with the device or accessories, to prevent accidental swallowing.
- Use only accessories provided or authorized by Yealink.
- Ensure the power supply meets the device's input voltage requirements. Use the provided surge protection power socket.
- Ensure hands are completely dry before plugging or unplugging any cable.
- Do not spill liquids on the product or use it near water (e.g., bathtub, sink, wet basement, swimming pool).
- During thunderstorms, stop using the device, disconnect it from the power supply, unplug the power plug and the ADSL twisted pair (radio frequency cable) to avoid lightning strikes.
- If the device is left unused for a long time, disconnect it from the power supply and unplug the power plug.
- If smoke, abnormal noise, or smell is emitted from the device, disconnect it from the power supply and unplug the power plug immediately.
- Do not insert objects into equipment slots that are not part of the product or auxiliary product.
- Connect the grounding cable first before connecting any other cable. Do not disconnect the grounding cable until all other cables are disconnected.
Battery Requirements
- Do not immerse the battery in water, as it could short-circuit and damage the battery.
- Do not expose the battery to open flames or extremely high temperatures, which could cause it to explode.
- Power off the handset before removing the battery.
- Do not use the battery for any device other than this handset.
- Do not open or mutilate the battery; the released electrolyte is corrosive and may cause damage to eyes or skin.
- Use only the rechargeable battery pack delivered with the handset or those expressly recommended by Yealink.
- Defective or exhausted batteries should not be disposed of as municipal waste. Return old batteries to the battery supplier, a licensed battery dealer, or a designated collection facility.
Cleaning Requirements
- Disconnect the device from the power supply before cleaning.
- Use a piece of soft, dry, and anti-static cloth to clean the device.
- Keep the power plug clean and dry.
Troubleshooting
- The unit cannot supply power to Yealink device.
- There is a bad connection with the plug. Clean the plug with a dry cloth and connect it to another wall outlet.
- The usage environment is out of the operating temperature range. Use the device within the operating temperature range.
- The cable between the unit and the Yealink device is connected incorrectly. Connect the cable correctly.
- You cannot connect the cable properly. Ensure you are using the correct Yealink device and power supply. Clean any dust from the port.
- Contact your dealer or authorized service facility for further questions.
