Note: The Yealink W76P DECT IP phone includes one W70B base station and one W56H handset.
Assembling the DECT Phone
1. Connect the Base Station Power and Network
a. AC Power Option
Diagram shows a power adapter connected to the base station and then to a wall socket.
b. PoE (Power over Ethernet) Option
Diagram shows an Ethernet cable connecting the base station to a PoE Hub/Switch.
Note: If using method a, use the Yealink supplied power adapter (5V/0.6A). A third-party adapter may damage the base station. If using method b, no separate power adapter is needed; ensure the hub/switch is PoE-compliant.
2. Install the Base Station
a. Desktop Installation (Attach/Remove Base Stand)
To attach the base stand: Align the snap-fits with the corresponding holes on the base station and push forward until they click into place.
To remove the base stand: Remove the snap-fits from the holes horizontally.
b. Wall-Mount Installation
Diagram illustrates the base station being attached to a wall surface.
3. Insert the Battery into the Handset
Diagram sequence shows opening the handset back cover, inserting the battery, and closing the cover.
4. Attach the Belt Clip to the Handset
Diagram shows the belt clip being attached to the rear of the handset.
5. (Optional) Mount the Charging Cradle to the Wall
Diagram shows the charging cradle being mounted on a wall, with a 36mm measurement indicated for screw placement.
6. Connect the Charging Cradle and Charge the Handset
Diagram shows the charging cradle connected to power, and the handset placed on it.
Note: Use the Yealink-supplied power adapter (5V/0.6A). A third-party adapter may damage the handset. Check the charging status on the top-right corner of the LCD screen.

Safety Instructions
General Requirements
Read and observe all safety instructions before installation and use.
Keep the device dry and clean during storage, transportation, and operation. Avoid collision and crash.
Do not attempt to dismantle the device yourself. Contact an appointed maintenance center for repair.
Refer to relevant laws and statutes when using the device, respecting the legal rights of others.
Environmental Requirements
Place the device in a well-ventilated area. Do not expose to direct sunlight.
Keep the device dry and free of dust.
Do not place the device on or near flammable or fire-vulnerable objects (e.g., rubber-made materials).
Keep the device away from heat sources or open flames (e.g., candles, electric heaters).
Operating Requirements
Do not allow children to operate the device without guidance.
Prevent children from playing with the device or accessories to avoid accidental swallowing.
Use only manufacturer-provided or authorized accessories.
Ensure the power supply meets the device's input voltage requirements. Use the provided surge protection power socket.
Ensure hands are completely dry before plugging or unplugging cables.
Do not spill liquids on the product or use near water (e.g., bathtub, sink, wet basement, swimming pool).
During thunderstorms, stop using the device, disconnect it from power, unplug the power and ADSL cables to avoid lightning strikes.
If the device is unused for an extended period, disconnect it from power and unplug the power plug.
If smoke, abnormal noise, or smell is detected, immediately disconnect the device from power and unplug the power plug. Contact the specified maintenance center for repair.
Do not insert objects into equipment slots that are not part of the product or auxiliary product.
Connect the grounding cable first before connecting any other cable. Do not disconnect the grounding cable until all other cables are disconnected.
Battery Requirements
Do not immerse the battery in water, as this can cause short-circuiting and damage.
Do not expose the battery to open flames or extremely high temperatures, which could cause it to explode.
Power off the handset before removing the battery.
Do not use the battery to power any device other than this handset.
Do not open or mutilate the battery; released electrolyte is corrosive and can damage eyes or skin.
Use only the supplied rechargeable battery pack or those expressly recommended by Yealink.
Defective or exhausted batteries should not be disposed of as municipal waste. Return them to the battery supplier, a licensed dealer, or a designated collection facility.
Cleaning Requirements
Disconnect the device from the power supply before cleaning.
Use a soft, dry, anti-static cloth for cleaning.
Keep the power plug clean and dry.
Troubleshooting
Problem: The unit cannot supply power to the Yealink device.
Possible Cause: Bad connection with the plug.
Solution: 1. Clean the plug with a dry cloth. 2. Connect to another wall outlet.
Possible Cause: Usage environment is out of operating temperature range.
Solution: 1. Use the device within the operating temperature range.
Possible Cause: The cable between the unit and the Yealink device is connected incorrectly.
Solution: 1. Connect the cable correctly.
Possible Cause: Cannot connect the cable properly.
Solution: 1. Ensure you have connected the correct Yealink device. 2. Use the correct power supply.
Solution: 1. Check for debris in the port.
