Assembling the DECT Phone
1. Connect the base station power and network
Choose between two methods:
a. AC Power Option
Connect the Yealink supplied power adapter (5V/0.6A) to the base station and then to a wall outlet. A third-party power adapter may damage the base station.
b. PoE (Power over Ethernet) Option
Connect an Ethernet cable from an IEEE 802.3af compliant PoE Hub/Switch to the base station. No separate power adapter is needed if the hub/switch is PoE-compliant.
2a. Desktop Installation: Attach and remove the base stand
Attach the Base Stand:
Align the snap-fits with the corresponding holes on the base station and push forward until they snap into place.
Remove the Base Stand:
Remove the snap-fits from the holes horizontally.
2b. Wall-Mount Installation: Attach the base station
Mount the base station to a wall using appropriate mounting hardware, ensuring correct alignment and spacing (e.g., 59mm for specific brackets).
Getting Started
3. Insert the battery into the handset
Open the battery cover on the handset, insert the rechargeable battery, and close the cover securely.
4. (Optional) Mount the charging cradle to the wall
Mount the charging cradle to the wall using appropriate hardware, typically with 50mm spacing for mounting holes.
5. Connect the charging cradle and charge the handset
Connect the power adapter to the charging cradle and plug it into a wall outlet. Place the handset into the charging cradle to begin charging. Check the charging status on the top-right corner of the handset's LCD screen.

You can register up to 8 handsets to one W70B base station, and each handset can be registered to up to 4 different base stations.
