Quick Start Guide V1.1

1 Package List

The package typically includes:

  • UH37 Mono Headset: A headset with a single earcup and an adjustable boom microphone.
  • UH37 Dual Headset: A headset with two earcups and an adjustable boom microphone.
  • Drawstring Bag: For carrying and protecting the headset.
  • Quick Start Guide: This document.

Note: It is recommended to use the included accessories. Using third-party accessories may lead to compatibility issues.

2 Connection

To connect your headset, plug it into a USB-A or USB-C port on your computer, depending on the headset variant you have.

The headset can also be connected to compatible Yealink desk phones via USB.

3 Wear the Headset

Adjust the headset for a comfortable fit:

  • Position the earcup over your ear.
  • The boom microphone can be rotated up to 150 degrees.
  • The boom arm is bendable, allowing you to position the microphone close to your mouth for optimal voice capture.

4 Overview

Familiarize yourself with the headset's controls and indicators:

  • Mute/Unmute Button: Press to mute or unmute the microphone.
  • Volume Up: Press to increase volume. Press and hold for 1.5 seconds to go to the previous track.
  • Volume Down: Press to decrease volume. Press and hold for 1.5 seconds to go to the next track.
  • Busylight: A light indicator around the button that shows your Microsoft Teams status.
  • Multi-function Button (MFB):
    • UC Edition: Answer or end a call, Play/Pause music, Hook call.
    • Teams Edition: Answer or end a call, End current call and answer an incoming call, Open Microsoft Teams notification.

Note: To enable certain features like 'Hook' or specific platform settings (UC), you may need to use the Yealink USB Connect application. Navigate to Device settings -> Advanced Settings -> Platform and select UC. Then, select HOOK via the MFB Button.

5 Calls & Music

Control your calls and music playback:

UC Edition Functions:

  • Press once: Play/pause music; Answer/end a call; End the current call and answer an incoming call.
  • Double-press: Reject an incoming call or reject a call while on an active call; Redial the last number.
  • Hold for 1.5 sec: Put the current call on hold and answer an incoming call; Switch between held and active calls.

Teams Edition Functions:

  • Press once: Answer/end the call; End the current call and answer an incoming call; Invoke the Teams client.
  • Double-press: Reject an incoming call or reject a call while on an active call; Redial the last number.
  • Hold for 1.5 sec: Dismiss/invoke raise hand during a meeting; Activate Cortana (requires Microsoft support).

Microphone Mute/Unmute:

  • Press the Mute button once.
  • Alternatively, move the microphone boom arm up or down.

Note: Before using Teams-specific functions, ensure the Microsoft Teams client is installed on your PC.

6 Replace Ear Cushions

To replace the ear cushions:

  1. Gently pull out the old ear cushion.
  2. Align the four grooves on the new ear cushion with the corresponding slots on the headset base.
  3. Press firmly to secure the new cushion.

Note: Replacement ear cushions must be purchased separately.

Software

Update and manage your Yealink headsets using the Yealink USB Connect application.

Download the software from the Yealink website: https://www.yealink.com/product/yuc

Note: Yealink USB Connect version 0.34.x.x or higher is required.

Compatibility & Warranty

The UH37 headset supports Yealink T27G/T4xS/T4xU/T53/T5xW/T58/VP59 phones via USB connection. For optimal performance, it is recommended that your phone's firmware is v86 (xx.86.x.xx) or later. For more details, refer to the "Yealink Headset Compatibility Guide" on the Yealink support website.

Cleaning Requirements

  • Disconnect from power before cleaning.
  • Use a soft, dry, anti-static cloth.
  • Keep the power plug clean and dry.

Troubleshooting

Unit cannot supply power: Check plug connection, try a different outlet, ensure the environment is within operating temperature range, verify cable connection, or check for dust in the port.
