Attentions for Remote Control:
- 1. Please check whether the indicator corresponding to the camera selection area is on or not.
- 2. If the remote control doesn't work, please replace batteries.
- 3. Make sure the Number keys on the camera selection area are consistent with the remote control address in the menu.
6. Common Operation Instructions
6.1 Camera Select
Refer to the dial-up at the bottom of the camera and choose the camera address number you want to control (1-4).

6.2 Camera Direction Control

Note: Press the direction key to adjust the angle. For slow movement, click the direction key. For fast movement, long-press the button.
6.3 Camera Focusing Mode Control
- AUTO FOCUS: Switch the focus mode to AUTO
- MANUAL FOCUS: Switch the focus mode to MANUAL
- FAR: Far focus manually
- NEAR: Near focus manually

6.4 Camera Zoom Control
Press any of the 4 【ZOOM】 keys for zoom functionality. These keys are not applicable for fixed focus cameras.

6.5 Preset Setup, Call, Cancel
- Reserve Preset: Press 【PRESET】, then press a number (0-9) to reserve a preset. You can set up to 10 presets.
- Call Preset: Press the number (0-9) directly to call the reserved preset.
- Remove Preset: Press 【RESET】, then press a number (0-9) to remove the corresponding preset.
Preset Number Pad: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 0, PRESET, RESET.

7. Network Function
7.1 Operating System & Network Protocol
- Operating System: Windows 7/8/10, Mac OS X, Linux, Android
- Network Protocol: TCP/IP
- Client PC Requirements: P4/128M RAM/40G HDD/ support scaled graphics card, DirectX 8.0 or higher.
7.2 Equipment Installation
Connect the HD video camera to your internet or PC via a network cable, or connect through a Switch/Router. You can log into the camera's web interface using the default or modified IP address. (Check the default IP for your specific model).
7.2.1 How to query the IP address of your PC
Navigate to Windows Settings > Network & Internet > Status. Under "IP settings", find the IPv4 address.
Example IP address: 192.168.110.115
7.2.2 How to add networking
- Open the computer's network local connection attribute window.
- Select "Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)".
- Double-click to open the Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) window.
- Change the computer's IP to match the camera's network segment (e.g., 192.168.1.115 if the camera is 192.168.1.205). Ensure the IP addresses are on the same network segment.
PS: If no network segment is added, login will fail. The default IP address of the product is 192.168.1.205. Ensure the IP address does not conflict with other devices.

7.3 Input http://192.168.1.205 to IE or Google web browser.
A login window will appear. Input username: admin, password: admin, language: English.
7.3.1 First-time Login
You may need to download a Plug-in. Enter the user and password, then log in.
Login Screen: Shows fields for username, password, and language selection, with a Login button.
7.3.2 Preview Image
After logging in, the preview image will be displayed, allowing control of PTZ, image parameters, Exposure, and AWB.
Interface Elements: Live view, Setup, PTZ controls (Pan, Tilt, Zoom, Speed), Image settings (Exposure, AWB), Preset selection.
7.3.3 User Settings
Users can set PTZ, image parameters, Exposure, and AWB after the preview image appears.
7.3.4 Changing Camera IP Address
To connect to the camera, change the camera's IP address to match the PC's original IP address. Alternatively, set the PC's IP to obtain automatically.

7.3.5 Advanced Settings
Users can configure parameters for Ethernet, Port, RTMP, and RTSP.

7.4 Video streaming
7.4.1 RTSP video streaming
Example using VLC media player:
Media > Open Network Streaming > Enter Network URL: rtsp://192.168.110.205:554/media/live/1/1
VLC Interface: Shows fields for entering network URL and options to play or cancel.
7.4.2 RTMP video streaming
Navigate to "Network setup" > "RTMP". Enter URL for Stream 1 and optionally Stream 2.
Example for YouTube: Copy YouTube's Stream URL and Stream key into the respective fields.
7.5 VISCA over IP
VISCA Protocol is transmitted via IP to reduce RS232/RS485 cabling. The controller must support IP communication.

8. Trouble Shooting
8.1 Surface Installation
Place the camera on a flat surface in a horizontal position. If mounting on an inclined surface, ensure the angle of inclination is less than 15 degrees for proper pan and tilt operation.

8.2 Wall Mount Installation
Step 1: Mounting the wall mount bracket
Attach the wall mount bracket to the wall using screws. Ensure the bracket is oriented correctly towards the wall.
Step 2: Install the camera
Align the screw holes on the camera with the bracket and rotate the camera clockwise to install.
Common Troubleshooting Questions:
- Q: Video not displayed on screen.
A: Check connections for power, video cable, camera, and monitor. Ensure connectors are secure. - Q: Unable to Pan, Tilt, or Zoom.
A: Ensure the menu is closed. Re-operate after exiting the menu. - Q: Camera rotates for 10 seconds after power on.
A: This is a normal self-test procedure. - Q: Poor image quality in low-light conditions (e.g., church).
A: Use the menu to adjust backlight effect for optimal lighting. - Q: Remote control not working or insensitive.
A: 1. Check/replace batteries. 2. Ensure the correct "IR select" number is used. Operate within 10m (32.8ft) and remove obstacles. Aim at the camera's sensor. - Q: USB interface not identifiable.
A: Check USB cable connections. Try a different USB port or cable. - Q: Camera not controlled via RS-232/RS-485 when connected to PC.
A: Verify correct connection between camera and PC. Refer to RS-485 and RS-232 pin distribution (page 10). - Q: Why no ceiling mount bracket included?
A: The camera includes a wall mount. Ceiling mount or tripod brackets must be purchased separately. - Q: Does the camera have a built-in microphone?
A: No, this camera does not have a built-in microphone. - Q: Can the camera be controlled only by the remote control?
A: The camera can be controlled via remote control, keyboard controller (joystick), and software.
9. Maintenance Services
All products are guaranteed for 36 months for repair. Quality issues during the guarantee period will be maintained for free.
Maintenance costs will be collected under the following circumstances:
- Product was not used normally.
- Damage caused by fire, electric shock, external object collapse, or natural disasters.
- Unauthorized repair, misuse, abuse, or alteration.
