Follow the provided Installation Instructions for both the RFRPD Room Thermostat and RF1B Wireless Receiver.
Operating Instructions – RFRPD Room Thermostat:
- Refer to the LCD Symbol Description and Button Description sections for better understanding.
- Reset the thermostat by following the outlined steps.
- Lock and unlock the thermostat as needed.
- Set the date, time, and programming mode according to your preference.
- Utilize Factory Program Setting and Programming Modes for customization.
- Adjust program settings in the 5/2 Day mode using the provided instructions.
- Utilize functions like Copy Function, Temporary Override, Auto Mode, Permanent Override, Boost Function, and more as required.
- Monitor battery status and follow instructions for battery replacement when necessary.
Operating Instructions – RF1B Wireless Receiver:
- Understand the Button / LED Description and LED Description for proper usage.
- Connect and disconnect the RFRPD Thermostat from the RF1B receiver as needed.
- Pair your RF1B receiver with the GW04 Gateway following the provided steps.
- Maintain service intervals as recommended for optimal performance.
FAQ:
What is Frost Protection and how does it work?
Frost protection is a feature built into the thermostat that activates when the temperature drops below a setpoint. It will switch on the boiler to maintain a minimum temperature level. Frost protection is active in OFF and Holiday mode only.
How many programs can be set per day on the thermostat?
The thermostat allows users to select from 6 different programs per day, each with a specific time and temperature setting. There is no OFF time; instead, users can set higher and lower temperature levels for different periods.
