HJÄLPA Drawer Assembly Instructions

This document provides assembly instructions for the IKEA HJÄLPA drawer system.

Assembly Steps

  1. Step 1: Attach handles to the drawer sides. Insert screws (10047244) through the pre-drilled holes on the drawer sides and into the handles.
  2. Step 2: Prepare the drawer bottom. Insert screws (130449) into the designated holes on the drawer bottom panel.
  3. Step 3: Attach drawer runners to the drawer sides. Align the drawer runners (10119505 and 10091549) with the pre-drilled holes on the drawer sides and secure them using screws (10121164).
  4. Step 4: Assemble the drawer box. Connect the drawer sides to the drawer bottom panel using dowels (119030) and cam locks (10098512).
  5. Step 5: Attach the drawer back panel. Slide the drawer back panel into the grooves on the drawer sides and secure it with screws (115339).
  6. Step 6: Insert the drawer front panel. Align the drawer front panel with the front edges of the drawer sides and secure it using the provided hardware.
  7. Step 7: Attach the drawer runners to the cabinet. Align the drawer runners (10114099) with the pre-drilled holes inside the cabinet and secure them with screws (10048881).
  8. Step 8: Insert the assembled drawer into the cabinet. Slide the drawer into the cabinet runners until it clicks into place.
  9. Step 9: Secure the drawer. Use screws (145718) to secure the drawer from the inside, if necessary.
  10. Step 10: Final adjustments. Ensure the drawer operates smoothly.

Note: The assembly process may require two people. Ensure you have the necessary tools, such as a screwdriver.
