HJÄLPA Drawer System Assembly

This guide provides step-by-step instructions for assembling the IKEA HJÄLPA drawer system.

8x Cam Lock Screw/Bolt (Part 119030)

2x Screw (Part 115339)
2x Drawer Runner (Part 10114099)
2x Drawer Runner (Part 10098500)
1x Drawer Runner (Part 10098499)

Assembly Steps

Step 1

Attach the two side panels to the base panel. Insert 2x part 130449 into the base panel and connect the side panels.

Step 2

Attach the drawer runners (part 10121164) to the side panels. Use 4x part 10121164, aligning them with the pre-drilled holes on the inner side of the panels.

Step 3

Insert the back panel into the grooves of the side panels. Secure the back panel using 2x part 10098500 and 2x part 10098499.

Step 4

Attach the front panel to the side panels. Use 4x part 119030 (cam locks) to secure the front panel to the side panels.

Step 5

Place the top panel onto the assembled structure. Secure it using 4x part 145718 (screws).

Step 6

Assemble the drawer box. Attach the drawer front to the drawer sides using 4x part 115339 (screws).

Step 7

Continue assembling the drawer box. Attach the drawer sides to the drawer front using 4x part 145718 (screws).

Step 8

Attach the drawer runners to the sides of the assembled drawer box. Use 4x part 119030 (cam locks) for each side.

Step 9

Attach the drawer bottom panel to the drawer front. Use 2x part 115339 (screws).

Step 10

Attach the drawer back panel to the drawer sides. Use 1x part 105344 (screw) and a cam lock mechanism.

Step 11

Secure the drawer front to the drawer box. Use 1x part 105344 (screw).

Step 12

Attach the cabinet-side drawer runners (part 10114099) to the inside of the cabinet body. Use 4x part 10048881 (screws) for each runner, aligning with the pre-drilled holes.

Step 13

Carefully slide the assembled drawer into the cabinet, aligning the drawer runners with the cabinet runners.

Step 14

Adjust the drawer alignment if necessary. Use 2x part 10098512 (adjustment screws) for fine-tuning the drawer position.

Step 15

The assembly is complete. Ensure all parts are securely fastened.
