MEET YOUR DOLPHIN SMART TRACKER REX

SET UP YOUR DOLPHIN

SMART TRACKER REX

• Step 1. Install ‘Google’s Find Hub ’ App Scan QR to download. Compatible devices: Android Version 12+
• Step 2. Sign in
• Step 3. Connect the Dolphin Smart Tracker to your phone
• a. Press the power button on the Dolphin Tracker Rex untill you hear a beep.
• b. Turn on the Dolphin Tracker Rex near your phone, and once the FastPair pop-up shows, tap ‘Connect’ (wait for up to 10 secs).
• c. Read the terms of use carefully and proceed by clicking on ‘Agree and continue’.
• d. Just tap on the ‘Done’ button, and with that, your Dolphin Tracker Rex Setup is complete.
• e. Set a device name for your Dolphin Tracker Rex and choose a category (e.g., keys, bag, wallet) to help organize your devices.

INSTALLATION

DOLPHIN SMART TRACKER SETTINGS

1. View on Map:
   Open the Google Find Hub app and see your Rex Tag’s current or last known location on the map.
2. Play Sound:
   If the Rex Tag is nearby, tap “Play Sound” to make it beep and help you find it quickly.
3. Find Nearby:
   Use the Find Nearby feature (if available) to get proximity guidance when you’re close to the Rex Tag.

Share with Trusted Contacts (Sender):

1. Select Your REX Tag
   From the list of devices, tap your REX Tag (e.g., “Backpack,” “Keys”).
2. Tap ‘Share Device’
   Look for the “Share this device” or “Share with others” option.
3.  Choose Trusted Contacts. Select a Google Contact or enter the Gmail address of the person you want to share the tag with.
4. Send Invitation
   Tap Send to invite them. The receiver will be notified.
5. Manage Sharing Acces:s You can view, add, or revoke shared access anytime from your sharing settings.

DOLPHIN SMART TRACKER SETTINGS

 Share with Trusted Contacts (Receiver)

1. Open the Temporary Sharing Link
   As soon as you receive the link via message or email, open it immediately. It’s time sensitive and may expire quickly.
2. Accept the Invitation
   Follow the prompt to accept the sharing invite, either through a browser or in the Find My Device app. This will link the shared REX Tag to your Google Account.
3.  Download Google’s Find My Device App
   Launch the app using the same Google Account where the tag was shared. Find the REX Tag in your device list.

Mark as Lost:

Get notified if your Rex Tag goes out of range. Select your Rex Tag Tap “Mark as lost” under Actions, Add a contact number and message (optional), Confirm to activate. Enable “Notify When Found” to get alerts when another Android device detects it.

Get directions

1. Tap “Get directions”
2. Wait for the app to fetch the current location
3. View the location of dolphin tracker Rex.

TRACKER SETTINGS

Remove Your Rex Tag

Make sure your tag is nearby and connected.In the Find My Device app, tap Remove Item — you’ll hear a chime when it’s done.⚠️ Don’t remove while Lost Mode is on — it’ll lock the tag for future use.

Factory Reset Your Rex Tag Reset it to pair with a new device by following these steps:

1. Press the button 2 times → (You’ll hear 1 beep)
2. Press the button 4 times quickly
3. On the 5th press, hold the button until you hear a ring-ring chime. Your tag is now reset and ready to pair with a new device.

BATTERY AND LANYARD REPLACEMENT

1. Insert the shell opening with a shell opening tool.
2. Rotate the shell opening tool 90 degrees to open the shell.
3. Use your fingernails at the small gap on the side of your Item Locator to carefully open the case. 4 Replace the battery with a new CR2032 battery 3V (Positive pole with the text upward).

• Insert the opening tool

• Close the case (Graphic for reference)
• Open the shell as a diagrammatic sketch.(No need to fully open the entire shell)
• Put the lanyard into the column, then close the cover.

DISPOSAL

• Batteries contain toxic substances that must be treated separately from domestic waste.
