Check that your Ethernet cable is connected to your Genie®/HD DVR and Internet router. When you’re ready, select Test Connection if prompted. Note: This may take a few moments, so give it some time.
If you’re having trouble reconnecting, select Back on the remote to try connecting with a wireless option.

Push Button Setup/WPS allows you to reconnect your Genie® or HD DVR to your Wi-Fi network automatically. All you have to do is push the WPS button on your wireless router.

Step 1

Select Set Up Wireless.

Go to your wireless router and find the WPS button. It should look like this: Refresh Button
Press the WPS button and your receiver will automatically connect to the Internet.
