If your service isn’t restored within two hours of making a payment, follow these steps, depending on where you manage your account.
If you manage your account on directv.com:
- “Refresh” receiver – Go to My Equipment and select Refresh Receiver next to the receiver you’re having trouble with.
- Reset receiver – Press the red reset button on your receiver and wait for it to reboot. You can also press the power button to restart.
If you manage your account on att.com:
- “Refresh” receiver online. Please visit the TV Plans Details page, scroll down to My Equipment and expand the receiver area. Select Refresh Receiver next to the receiver you’re having trouble with.
- Reset receiver – Press the red reset button on your receiver and wait for it to reboot. You can also press the power button to restart.
