IMPORTANT NOTES 

• Please read through this manual before making connections and operating this product. Retain this manual for future reference.
• Don’t open the cabinet of this unit, No user-serviceable parts inside. Refer servicing to qualified personnel only.
• Switch off the unit when you don’t use it. Switch off the unit and disconnect it from the AC power supply when it is not being used for a long time.
• Don’t install the unit in a place exposed to heating sources or direct sunlight.
• Don’t install the unit in a place exposed to moisture or rain.
• The apparatus shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing and any object filled with liquids, such as vases shall not be placed on it.
• Install the unit on a horizontal, flat and firm surface with good ventilation. Never block the vents which will cause malfunction resulted from overheating.
• Use a soft and clean rag to clean the outside of the unit. Never clean it with chemicals or detergent.
• This book is only a guide for user’s operation, not a criterion for configuration.
• Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
• VI/here the Mains plug is used as the disconnect device, the disconnect device shall remain readily operable.
  WARNING: The batteries shall not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunlight, fire or the like.
  CAUTION: Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced. Replace only with the same or equivalent type.

   Press to switch on the sound base; Press it again to put the sound base in standby mode.
2. SOURCE
   Press repeatedly to switch between BLUETOOTH, LINE IN, AUX IN, OPTICAL IN, and COAXIAL IN modes.
3. VOLUME+/-
4. Press to turn up/down the volume.
5. EQUALIZER
   Press to switch the equalizer modes among MUSIC, MOVIE, GAME and NEWS. (Note:AII the button on the top panel are touch keys)

Connections

AUX IN/LINE IN

This sound base has an extra group of audio input terminals. You can input the stereo audio signals from extra devices such as VCD, CD, VCR, DVD player, etc.
Use the audio cable to connect the stereo audio output terminals of a VCD, CD, VCR, or DVD player to the stereo input terminals AUX IN/LINE IN of this sound base.
Its corresponding signal source is AUX IN/LINE IN which can be available by pressing (AUX)/[LINE) on the remote control.

Coaxial Digital Audio 

Use a coaxial cable to connect the coaxial input of this sound base to the coaxial output of the VCD, CD, VCR, and DVD player.

OPTICAL INPUT

Use the optical cable to connect the optical input of this sound base to the optical output of VCD, CD, VCR, and DVD player.

Bluetooth

Power on the sound base, use your Bluetooth enabled devices (smart phone, tablet, etc) to search the Bluetooth signal of the sound base, select DSB500DT on your list. “BLUET’ will display on the screen and the sound base will synchronize to play songs on your device while connected successfully.
Disconnect the bluetooth on the device to swijch off the bluetooth connection.
When you connect your device for the first time, power off the sound base then power on. The sound base will memorize your device and pair automatically. Press PLAY/PAUSE to resume playback.
Note:
Bluetooth 4.0 connection range is about 33 feet.
When paring a device using a Bluetooth version older than 4.0, you will need to input the password “0000”.
The model DSB500DT in your device was not deleted.
In Bluetooth mode, [PLAY/PAUSE], [NEXT], [PREVIOUS], [VOLUME+/-] etc. are also active.

Remote control

Remote Control OReration
Insert two AAA/1.SV batteries into the remote control. Point the remote control at the remote sensor on the front panel. Remote works to a distance of up to 25 feet within line of si ght of the remote sensor.

Batte Installation

1. Remove the battery compartment cover on the back of the remote control.
2. Load the batteries into the battery compartment making sure that the batteries have been inserted with the correct polarities matching the symbols +, – as indicated inside the battery compartment.
3. Replace the cover.

Note: 

1. Remove the batteries when you do not intend to use the remote control for a long time.
2. Do not mix new and used batteries or different types of batteries.
3. Weak batteries can leak and severely damage the remote control.
4. Batteries shall not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire or the like.
5. Be environmentally friendly and dispose of batteries according to your government regulations.

Remote Control

• Press to switch on the sound base. Press it again to put the sound base in standby mode.
• Press to switch the equalizer modes among MUSIC, MOVIE, GAME and NEWS.
• Press [VOLUME+] to turn up the volume.
• Press to temporarily pause a playback. Press it again to resume the playback.
• Press to return to the previous track;
• Press to skip to the next track.
• Press [VOLUME-] to turn down the volume
• Select LINE IN, AUX IN, OPTICAL IN, COAXIAL or BLUETOOTH mode.
• Press to temporarily switch off the sound. Press it again to switch it on.

Troubleshooting

Before returning the unit to place of purchase and before calling for service, please kindly check by yourself with the following chart.

Symptoms	Cause(s)	Remedy
No Power	•   The AC power cord is not connected to the power supply or is not connected to a power supply securely.	•   Please check that the AC power cord is connected securely.
Sound   There is no sound or the sound is distorted.	•   The audio cables aren’t connected securely.   •   The volume is set to the minimum level. •   The sound is switched off.	•     Connect the audio cables securely. Turn up the volume.   •     Press [MUTE] on the remote control to switch on the sound. •     Press [PLAY/PAUSE].
The buttons on the unit doesn’t work.	•    The unit is being interfered with static electricity etc.	•    Switch off and unplug the unit. Then connect the plug to the power supply and switch it on again.
The remote control does not function.	•   There is no battery in the remote control.   •   The batteries are out of charge. •   The remote control isn’t pointed to the remote sensor. •   The remote control is out of its operating area. •   The unit is shut down.	•    Install t>NoAAA/1.5V batteries in it. Replace the batteries with new ones.   •    Make sure that the remote control is pointed to the remote control sensor. •     Make sure the remote control is within the operating area. •    Switch off the unit and disconnect it from the AC outlet. Then power on the unit again.

This Digital Stream brand product is warranted by Innovative DTV Solutions, Inc. to the original purchaser against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship encountered in the normal noncommercial use of this product for a limited warranty period of:
TWELVE (12) Months Parts and Labor

This limited warranty begins on the original date of purchase and is valid only on products purchased and used in the United States. COVERAGE: During the twelve-month limited warranty period: Innovative DTV Solutions, Inc. will, at its option, either repair the defective product at no cost to you, or replace the defective product with a new or remanufactured functionally equivalent product of equal value. EXCLUSIONS: This limited warranty DOES NOT APPLY to products that have been used commercially, serviced by an unauthorized service center or third party, or damaged due to abuse, misuse, accident, alteration, modification, negligence, line power surges, connection to improper voltage supply or settings, accident, acts of God and/or tampering.
HOW TO GET SERVICE: In order to have your merchandise repaired or replaced under this limited warranty, you must contact our Customer Service representatives by phone or email, and get an RMA number. Once you have obtained an RMA number, send the product pre-paid to our authorized service center in the original packaging or a reasonable substitute to prevent damage. You must include your full name, shipping address, and telephone number for our reference along with proof of purchase in the form of a purchase receipt or other evidence satisfactory to Innovative DTV Solutions, Inc. No return of repaired or replaced product will be shipped back to a PO Box. Innovative DTV Solutions, Inc. will not be responsible for delays or unprocessed claims resulting from a purchaser’s failure to provide any or all of the necessary information. It will take approximately 3 to 4 weeks to process your claim, from the date of receipt. All of the accessories that came with the product package must be sent along with the main unit. The RMA number was issued by our customer service rep. must be written on the mail package, along with the return address.
