Product Usage Instructions
Installation via App:
- Download the devolo Home Network app on your mobile device.
- Follow the installation wizard in the app to configure your devolo Magic LAN adapter step-by-step.
Manual Installation:
- Connect the devolo Magic LAN adapter to a free wall socket.
- Wait until the LED on the adapter quickly flashes white (approximately 15 seconds).
Note: The following steps should be completed within 3 minutes of completing the manual installation. - Press the button on the side of your devolo Magic LAN adapter that is connected to the router.
The encryption process will start automatically, indicated byflashing white LEDs on both adapters. Once the process is complete, all LEDs on the devices will light up solid white. This process typically takes a maximum of 3 minutes.
To pair with other devolo Magic adapters or reset the devolo adapter to factory settings, use the PLC button on the adapter. Press the button for 1 second to start pairing or hold it for more than 10 seconds to reset the adapter, indicated by different LED behaviors (flashing white or solid red).

Download the devolo Home Network app. An installation wizard will take you through the configuration stepby-step. If you prefer to carry out the installation without the app, follow the steps in Part B.
Manual installation
- Connnect the devolo Magic LAN adapter to a free wall socket and wait until the LED quickly flashes white (approx. 15 sec).
- Within 3 minutes, press the button on the side of your devolo Magic LAN adapter which is connected to the router.
- The encryption process takes place automatically. During this time, the LEDs of both adapters flash white.
- The process is complete as soon as all of the LEDs on the devices light up solid white. The process takes a maximum of 3 minutes.

Help: Manual Pairing
Help: If automatic pairing during initial installation was unsuccessful, you can carry out manual pairing of the Magic adapters. Connect the devolo Magic LAN adapter to a free wall socket and wait until the LED flashes white (approx. 15 seconds).
Within 3 minutes, press the button on the side of your devolo Magic LAN adapter which is connected to the router. Second, press the button on your new Magic LAN adapter. As soon as all of the LEDs light up white, pairing has been completed successfully.
