Using the Multiplayers as TRAKTOR Series Audio Devices
To use the multiplayers as TRAKTOR series audio output devices, follow the instructions below to set up your PC/Mac and the TRAKTOR series.
For Windows:
- Install the driver software on your PC. Download the latest version from the Pioneer DJ support page (pioneerdj.com/support/).
- Open TRAKTOR series software. Navigate to [File] -> [Audio Setup] and select [Pioneer CDJXDJ ASIO] for your [Audio Device].
- The multiplayer should be automatically selected as the audio output device. If not, navigate to [File] -> [Audio Setup] -> [Output Routing] and select it manually.
For macOS:
To use multiple multiplayers as audio devices on macOS, you do not need to install separate driver software. Instead, you will set up an aggregated device using the provided macOS tool, CDJ/XDJ Aggregator, which simplifies this process.
Download the CDJ/XDJ Aggregator from the "Software & firmware updates" section on the Pioneer DJ support page (pioneerdj.com/support/). If the downloaded file is a zip archive, double-click it to extract its contents.
Follow these steps for TRAKTOR series setup:
- Connect the multiplayer (or multiplayers) to your Mac using a USB cable per multiplayer.
- Double-click the [CDJ/XDJ_Aggregator] application to create an aggregated device named [Pioneer CDJ/XDJ].
- Open TRAKTOR series software. Navigate to [File] -> [Audio Setup] and select the [Pioneer CDJ/XDJ] device created in the previous step.
- The multiplayer should be automatically selected as an audio output device. If not, navigate to [File] -> [Audio Setup] -> [Output Routing] and select it manually.
