Charging the battery

Be sure to charge the battery to full when you are charging it for the irst time.
CHARGING WITH USB CABLE
To charge the battery proceed as follow:

  1. Locate the USB type-C port on P-RANGER and connect a USB cable (optional).
  2. Connect the USB cable to a PC.

CHARGING WITH CRADLE
To charge the battery proceed as follow:

  1. Connect the charging cradle (optional) to a power outlet.
  2. Place the device on the charging cradle.

Installing MicroSD and/or SIM cards

Installing / replacing the battery

Warnings

BATTERY

  1. The rechargeable battery can be used to power your device. Charge the battery when the power level is low. It is recommended that you use up the entire battery charge before recharging, to ensure longer battery life.
  2. Do not connect the charger to any power source if it is not in good condition.
  3. Never connect the charger to the battery for more than one week because over – charging shortens battery life.
  4. Temperature afects the battery charge limits, so it may be necessary to cool or to warm the battery before charging. Recharging will not be successful if the battery temperature is above 55°C or below -20°C.
  5. To avoid short circuits use the battery only for the purpose for which it was originally designed. A short circuit will occur if the battery cathode and anode are connected by a conductor.
  6. Never use the battery if it is damaged.
  7. Battery life will be reduced if the battery is in an extremely hot or extremely cold environment. The device may not function properly, even if the battery is fully charged, if the battery is exposed to extremely hot or extremely cold environmental conditions.
  8. Do not throw the battery into a ire. Dispose of used batteries responsibly.
  9. Used batteries should be taken to battery recycling services and disposed of according to local regulations.

DEVICE

  1. Keep your device and all accessories out of the reach of children.
  2. Keep your device dry as liquids can corrode the metal circuits. Keep your phone away from high temperatures because high temperatures can reduce the life of electronic components, melt plastics and damage the battery.
  3. Do not attempt to open the device case or disassemble the phone.
  4. Non-professional disassembly will potentially damage the phone. Do not use detergents containing strong acids or strong alkaline to clean your phone.
  5. Always use the original accessories, otherwise the warranty will be void.

  1. When using your device, always comply with the safety rules to protect users and the environment.

SAFETY IN TRAFFIC

  1. Except in case of an emergency, do not use your device while driving unless handsfree devices are connected to ensure safety and freedom of movement.
  2. Make sure you are completely focused on driving. Park your vehicle in a safe place before using your device. Comply with all applicable regulations. Some electronic devices may be afected by radio waves transmitted by your device if suicient protection is not provided.
  3. It is recommended that you use your device only in vehicles with an external antenna.
  4. Always employ qualiied technicians to install your device in your vehicle.
  5. Flight safety
  6. Switch of your device before boarding, as devices interfere with the operation of aircraft and the entire mobile network. It is illegal to use devices on aircraft and violation of these safety regulations will result in a denial of customer service.

ENVIRONMENTAL SAFETY

  1. Remember to always comply with all current applicable rules and policies.
  2.  Always remember to switch of your device when its use is prohibited or maycause interference or hazards.
  3. Use of any wireless transmission equipment, including your device, may interfere
  4. with an inadequately protected medical device. Consult your physician or medical device manufacturer if you have any questions about this. Your device may interfere with hearing aids, pacemakers and other electronic medical devices. Follow the recommendations of your doctor or the manufacturer.
  5. Users are recommended to switch of their devices at any places where an explosion may occur, e.g. gas stations and chemical plants. Comply with any restrictions on the use of wireless devices.

EU REGULATORY STATEMENT
This device was tested for typical body-worn operations. To comply with RF exposure requirements, a minimum separation distance of 0mm must be maintained between the user’s body and the handset, including the antenna. Third-party belt-clips, holsters, and similar accessories used by this device should not contain any metallic components. Bodyworn accessories that do not meet these requirements may not comply with RF exposure requirements and should be avoided. Use only the supplied or an approved
antenna.

All essential radio test suites have been carried out.

  1. Use careful with the earphone maybe possible excessive sound pressure from earphones and headphones can cause hearing loss.
  2. CAUTION : RISK OF EXPLOSION IF BATTERY IS REPLACED BY AN INCORRECT TYPE. DISPOSE OF USED BATTERIES ACCORDING TO THE INSTRUCTIONS.
  3. The product shall only be connected to a USB interface of version USB 2.0.
  4. Adapter shall be installed near the equipment and shall be easily accessible.

NOTE:
