PRODUCT INFORMATION
HELIAX® SureGuard V2.0 Weatherproofing System for 1/2″ SureFlex® Bird-Proofing Jumpers For 4.3-10 Male Connectors, Connectors to Female Device Ports U.S. Patent 9,216,530 and other patents pending SureGuard Version 2.0 Weatherproofing boots are designed for installation on smooth cylindrical surfaces. Do not install boots on female device port machined flats or other irregular surfaces. Installation on such surfaces may compromise sealing effectiveness. Installation Instructions
- Torque the 4.3-10 connector using the appropriate wrench.
- Push from the back of the boot up towards the RRU connector from one side of the boot. The opposite side is where the power and FO cables are located.
- Push forward and backward the boot several times to ensure it has passed over the RRU connector neck.
- Twist and push up the swollen part of the boot several times until the boot stretches to cover the female neck.
- Keep twisting and pushing up until the boot is fully extended to reach the connector base of the RRU and the connector is covered 360degrees uniformly.
- Push the gasket through the cable and stop by the boot end face as shown.
- Push the conduit stop by the gasket and ensure the conduit is fully covered by the gasket.
- Push the cap to cover the boot in and keep the cap as line as the boot.
- Screwed cable gland nut by hand as shown.
- Completed.
- Do not hold the connector and bend the cable directly behind it, start bending 30mm min away from the cap end as the picture shows.
- REWORK: Pull back the gasket along with the conduit, then pull back sureguard V2.0
