KINESIS KB100 Split Touchpad Keyboard
Pagkaangay
The Form keyboard is a multimedia USB keyboard that uses generic drivers provided by the operating system, so no special drivers or software are required. The keyboard is compatible with Windows, macOS, Chrome, Linux, iOS, iPadOS, and many other major operating systems that support USB peripherals.
Mubo nga sulat: Not all operating systems support the use of the integrated touchpad, and a firmware update may be required.
Pagpili sa USB o Bluetooth
The Form is optimized for wireless Bluetooth Low Energy (“BLE”), but it can be used via USB depending on your preference. To connect the keyboard wirelessly, you will need a Bluetooth-enabled PC, tablesmartphoneone, or SmartTV. To connect the keyboard over USB, you will need a device with an available USB port.
Battery or USB Power
When using the Form in Wireless mode, the keyboard is powered by a 2100 mah Lithium-Ion rechargeable battery. The battery is designed to last for several weeks with the backlighting disabled and full-time use. If the backlighting is on, you will need to charge the keyboard nightly. In sleep mode, it can go months between charges. When the Form is connected to a computer with the included USB-C cable, the keyboard will run off of USB power, and the battery will be charged. The Profile LED (described below) will illuminate Green.
The keyboard will automatically go to sleep after 30 seconds of inactivity to conserve power. Tap any key to instantly wake the keyboard and pick up where you left off. You can use the slide switch on the left side of the back edge.
Mubo nga sulat: The keyboard ships from the factory with only a partially charged battery. We recommend plugging the keyboard in on he first night you receive it to fully charge it. A full charge should take around 6-8 hours.
Bluetooth Mode: Initial Pairing
The Form can be paired with 2 different Bluetooth-enabled devices. The toggle switch on the right side of the back edge is used to switch between the two color-coded Bluetooth Profiles: The left position corresponds to Profile 1 (White LED), and the right position corresponds to Profile 2 (Blue LED).
- With the keyboard disconnected from all USB ports, slide the toggle switch on the left side of the back edge to the right to turn on the battery power.
- Ang Profile LED should flash rapidly in either White or Blue to reflect Profile 1 o 2.
- Navigate to your PC’s Bluetooth menu.
- Locate and select the “FORM” device from the menu and follow the prompts to connect.
- Ang Profile LED will go “solid” when the keyboard pairs successfully for that Profile.
- If you would like to pair an additional device, use the toggle switch on the right side of the back edge to change Profiles and repeat steps 2-3 above.
USB Mode
- Simply use the included cable to connect the keyboard
- The left LED is the conventional Caps Lock indicator. It illuminates white when Caps Lock is activated on the paired or connected computer (if supported)
- The right LED is the Profile LED. It illuminates White in Profile 1, Blue in Profile 2, and Green when in USB Mode.
- Kung ang Profile LED is flashing FAST, it means the keyboard is ready and available to be paired over.
- Bluetooth for that Profile (White or Blue)
- Kung ang Profile LED is flashing SLOW, it means the keyboard is unable to locate the device that was previously paired for that Profile (White or Blue)
- Kung ang Profile LED is SOLID, it means the keyboard is successfully paired and connected to a PC over Bluetooth for that Profile (White or Blue). Note: To conserve battery, the Profile LED will turn off after 3 seconds.
