Verdant support FAQ

Common questions about manuals, registration, and support for this brand.

  • How do I replace the batteries in a Verdant VX thermostat?

Remove the thermostat cover by unscrewing the fixing screw. Replace the two AA alkaline batteries formatted for 1.5VDC. The thermostat retains its configuration settings in non-volatile memory, so reprogramming shouldn't be necessary.

  • What do the blinking lights on the wireless control card mean?

A red light blinking once indicates the card is powered but not communicating with the thermostat. Three flashes indicate the card is successfully communicating with the thermostat.

  • How does the Verdant thermostat save energy?

The thermostat uses an integrated occupancy sensor to detect when a room is empty. It then adjusts the temperature to a preset setback level to reduce HVAC runtime, automatically recovering to the guest's setting upon their return.
