TAINO support FAQ

Common questions about manuals, registration, and support for this brand.

  • Do TAINO cast iron plates need to be seasoned?

Yes, cast iron products from TAINO must be seasoned and repeatedly treated with high-heat vegetable fat (like coconut, peanut, or canola oil) with a heat resistance of at least 210°C to prevent rust and sticking.

  • Can I use my TAINO barbecue indoors?

No, TAINO barbecues are strictly for outdoor use due to extreme fire risks and the danger of carbon monoxide poisoning. They must never be used in closed rooms, tents, caravans, or boats.

  • What should I do before using my TAINO smoker for the first time?

You must 'burn in' the grill before the first use. Clean off factory residue, lightly coat the inside and outside with a heat-resistant oil, and heat the smoker to approximately 180°C for about 2 hours to create a protective patina.

  • How do I clean a TAINO smoker?

Once the protective patina is established, do not use harsh cleaning agents as they will strip the finish. Simply allow the grill to cool, remove ash and excess fat, and use a wire brush for grates.

  • Where can I find the batch number on my TAINO grill?

The batch number (e.g., 11/2024) is usually located on the front of the product carton in the upper right corner. It is used to track the specific manufacturing run of your grill.
