SAWO support FAQ
Common questions about manuals, registration, and support for this brand.
-
Why does the heater produce smoke or an odor when turned on for the first time?
It is normal for new heating elements to produce smoke and an unpleasant odor during the first use due to the evaporation of manufacturing materials/coatings. It is recommended to heat the sauna for about 30 minutes with high ventilation and without bathers inside to burn off these residues.
-
What kind of stones should be used in SAWO heaters?
Use only SAWO-recommended stones designed for sauna heaters. Do not use ceramic or artificial stones, as they can damage the heating elements and void the warranty. Stones should be replaced at least once a year or every 500 hours of use.
-
Where should the temperature sensor be installed for SAWO heaters?
The sensor must be located on the ceiling in the middle relation to the heater. Follow the specific safety distances found in your model's manual, typically avoiding placement too close to air vents (minimum 1000mm from non-directional vents or 500mm from directional vents directed away from the sensor).
-
Can I install more than one heater in a single sauna room?
Generally, do not install more than one heater in a sauna room unless you follow the special instructions for twin-heater installations found in the technical manual.
-
What type of electrical cable is required for SAWO heater wiring?
The cable used for sauna wiring must be HO7RN-F type or its equivalent rubber-sheathed cable. All wiring and repairs must be performed by a certified electrician.
