To maximize effectiveness, it is recommended to install the HALO-LED unit in the air plenum just after the air handling unit (supply side).
The HALO-LED cell requires replacement every five (5) years. The unit features a countdown timer to indicate when a replacement is needed.
The pre-filter should be washed every six months, the HEPA filter should be replaced every two years, and the optional Activated Carbon filter should be replaced annually.
Unregistered units typically feature a 5-year warranty. Registering your unit online extends the warranty to 7 years. The cell itself is warrantied for 4 years.
