PDi Communication Systems support FAQ
Common questions about manuals, registration, and support for this brand.
-
How do I program the PDi Patient Remote to control my TV?
If you have multiple TVs in a room, ensure each is set to a unique bed code (A, B, C, or D). Turn on the TV, aim the remote at the TV, and press POWER. If the TV does not shut off, hold FUNC and the corresponding number (1 to 4) for 2 seconds until the LED blinks indicating the correct bed code.
-
How can I adjust a sagging PDi ceiling mount arm?
If the PDi mounting arm displays a tendency to sag under the weight of the television, DO NOT attempt to force adjustments. Contact PDi Service for assistance at 1-800-628-9870 or email t1service@pdiarm.com for specific strut adjustment instructions.
-
What maintenance is required for a PDi television mounting arm?
At least once a year, place a single drop of light machine oil on each pivot point in the nose and elbow of the arm. Do not put oil on the friction damper pads. You should also check the arm occasionally for any evidence of bending or distortion.
-
How should I clean my PDi patient television and arm?
Always unplug the unit from the wall before cleaning it. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosol cleaners directly on the device. Instead, use a gentle, damp cloth to carefully wipe the surfaces.
